DAILY CURRENCY MARKET 27th SEP 2019

The rupee on Friday opened 6 paise lower at 70.95 against the US dollar following some buying in American currency by banks and importers. At Close, the rupee settled at 70.55 against dollar, up 0.47% or 34 paise from Thursday’s close of 70.89. USD/INR touched intraday low of 70.51 and high of 70.97. Meanwhile, The Sensex closed 167.17 points or 0.43% lower at close at 38822.57 while Nifty shed 0.51% or 58.80 points to close at 11512.40.

The Rupee was trading at 77.16 as against Euro. The currency pair EUR/INR opened at 77.40, which was previously close at 77.50. The Currency pair GBP/INR and JPY/INR were trading at 86.79 and 0.65 respectively. The other currencies pairs ZAR/INR, MYR/INR, SAR/INR and AED/INR were trading at 4.68, 16.84, 18.78 and 19.18 subsequently.

The USD/JPY was trading at 108.11. The currency pair EUR/USD was trading at 1.09. The paired currency EUR/JPY was trading at 118.21. Elsewhere, the currency pair GBP/USD was trading at 1.23. The other currencies pairs AUD/USD, NZD/USD, MYR/USD and SAR/USD were trading at 0.68, 0.63, 0.24 and 0.27 respectively.
