DAILY CURRENCY MARKET 24th SEP 2019

The rupee opened 15 paise higher at 70.79 against the US dollar. But rupee erased all its morning gains and trading marginally lower. At Close, the rupee settled at 71.01 against dollar, down 0.09% or 8 paise from Monday's close of 70.94. USD/INR touched intraday low of 70.72 and high of 71.05. Meanwhile, The Sensex rose 7.11 points or 0.02% to settle at 39097.14 while Nifty slipped 12.00 points or 0.10% to settle at 11588.20 levels.

The Rupee was trading at 78.08 as against Euro. The currency pair EUR/INR opened at 77.95, which was previously close at 77.89. The Currency pair GBP/INR and JPY/INR were trading at 88.52 and 0.65 respectively. The other currencies pairs ZAR/INR, MYR/INR, SAR/INR and AED/INR were trading at 4.77, 16.95, 18.89 and 19.29 subsequently.

The USD/JPY was trading at 107.64. The currency pair EUR/USD was trading at 1.1. The paired currency EUR/JPY was trading at 118.47. Elsewhere, the currency pair GBP/USD was trading at 1.25. The other currencies pairs AUD/USD, NZD/USD, MYR/USD and SAR/USD were trading at 0.68, 0.63, 0.24 and 0.27 respectively.
