DAILY CURRENCY MARKET 11th SEP 2019

The rupee opened on a cautious note and fell 12 paise to 71.84 against the US dollar in early trade on Wednesday amid rising crude oil prices and unabated foreign fund outflows. Forex Market was closed on Tuesday on account of Muharram. USD/INR touched intraday low of 71.59 and high of 71.85. The rupee closed with marginal gains of 5 paise at 71.67 against the dollar tracking gains in other Asian currencies. Meanwhile, Sensex was up 125.37 points or 0.34 % at 37270.82 and Nifty was up 32.65 points or 0.30% at 11035.70.

The Rupee was trading at 78.89 as against Euro. The currency pair EUR/INR opened at 79.23, which was previously close at 79.10. The Currency pair GBP/INR and JPY/INR were trading at 88.51 and 0.66 respectively. The other currencies pairs ZAR/INR, MYR/INR, SAR/INR and AED/INR were trading at 4.89, 17.17, 19.11 and 19.52 subsequently.

The USD/JPY was trading at 107.72. The currency pair EUR/USD was trading at 1.09. The paired currency EUR/JPY was trading at 118.53. Elsewhere, the currency pair GBP/USD was trading at 1.24. The other currencies pairs AUD/USD, NZD/USD, MYR/USD and SAR/USD were trading at 0.69, 0.64, 0.24 and 0.27 respectively.
