NIFTY FIFTY SETTLED 45.90 POINTS, OR 0.40 PERCENT, LOWER AT 11,314.00

Nifty Fifty closed at 11,314.00, recorded a loss of 0.40% which was earlier opened at 11,322.25. It touched high of 11,370.40 and low of 11,257.35.About 19 shares rise while 31 shares fall. Market ended with notes due to as investors await the outcome of the country's central bank's policy meet. Among the sectorial Indexes, Media, Energy, Realty, Auto Indexes were in the gainer side while Metal, Bank, IT, Pharma, FMCG Indexes were in the loser side.

Media Index emerged as the top gainer of today’s trading session which has recorded a gain of 2.85%. Shares of Dish TV, Zee Limited, Balaji Tele films, Zee Media,Network18,TV18 Broadcast, Sun TV, TV Today, Music Broadcast Limited, PVR were the gainers with a gain of 8.59%,6.50%, 2.60%, 2.27%,2.21%, 1.87%, 1.69%, 1.09%, 0.95%, 0.39% respectively while shares of Hathway, Inox Leisure, Saregama limited, Jagran, DB Corp were the losers with a loss of 4.77%,1.96%, 1.61%, 1.50%, 1.28% respectively.

Energy Index has witnessed a gain of 1.34% with shares of BPCL, Hindustan Petroleum, IOC, Powergrid, ONGC, Reliance, Tata Power gained by 7.50%, 4.64%, 2.96%, 1.63%, 0.70%, 0.51%, 0.08% respectively while shares of Adani transportation, Gail, NTPC were the losers ,lose by 1.05%, 1.02%,0.04% respectively.

Realty Index opened at 248.35 and closed at 251.20 ,recorded a gain of 1.25%. Shares of DLF, Mahindra Lifespace, Brigade, Godrej Properties, Prestige were having positive notes with a gain of 4.20%,2.47%, 2.15%, 1.81%,0.33% subsequently whereas shares of India bulls realeste, Sobha, Sun Teck, Oberoi Realty, Phoenix Ltd were having negative notes with a loss of 4.93%,3.19%,1.97%,0.10%,0.04% respectively.

Auto Index has an upward momentum during the trading session which recorded a gain of 0.40%. Stocks like Tata Motora, Ashok Leyland, Eicher Motors, Exide Industries ,Bosch Ltd, Amara raja Batteries Limited, Mahindra & Mahindra were in the gainer side with a gain of 6.37%,2.73%,2.65%,1.66%,1.63%,1.15%,0.95% respectively while stocks like Mother Son Sumi System, TVS Motors, Hero Moto corop, Bajaj Auto, MRF, Bharat Forg, Maruti, Apollo tyre were the losers in this Index with a loss of 4.71%,3.74%,1.09%,0.90%, 0.83%, 0.64%, 0.57%, 0.21% respectively.

FMCG Index started the trading session at 30,819.60 and ended the trading session at 30,791.00, recorded a loss of 0.03%. Shares of ITC, Global, Emami ltd, Nestle India, UBL were emerged as the gainers with a gain of 2.09%, 0.65%, 0.48%,0.13%, 0.03% respectively while shares of Godrej Industries Limited, USL, Godrej Products, PGHH, HUL, Dabur, Marico were emerged as the losers with a loss of 6.68%,3.80%,2.94%,2.08%, 1.47%, 1.40%, 1.19% respectively.

Pharma Index has lose 0.06% with shares of PEL, Dr. Reddy, Lupin, Glenmark, Cadila healthcare lose by 6.28%,0.46%, 0.33%, 0.09%, 0.06% respectively while shares of Biocon, Cipla, Auto Pharma, Divi’s Lab, Sun Pharma were the gainers with a gain of 4.46%, 1.04%, 0.75%, 0.46%, 0.14% respectively.

IT Index was in the negative territory during the trading session which recorded a loss of 0.15%. Shares of Tata Elaxi, HCL Tech, NIIT Tech, Wipro were the gainers with a gain of 1.79%,1.58%, 1.22%, 1.18% respectively while shares of Just Dial, Hexaware, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Mindtree were the losers with a loss of 4.16%, 2.15%, 0.90%, 0.56%,0.19%, 0.12% respectively.

Bank Index has a loss of 1.08% with shares of IDFC First Bank, IndusInd Bank, Kotak Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank ,Bank of Baroda, SBI lose by 3.75%, 3.09%, 2.12%, 2.07%, 1.77%, 0.44%, 0.23% respectively while shares of YES Bank, RBL Bank, Federal Bank, PNB, ICICI Bank the gainers with a gain of 33.59%,4.06%, 1.77%, 0.85%, 0.68% respectively.

Metal Index settled as the top loser of today’s trading session which has recorded a loss of 2.94%. NMDC was the only gainer with a gain of 1.04% whereas shares of Vedanta Limited, Hindalco, Coal India, Tata Steel, Hindustan Zinc were in the loser side with a loss of 4.66%, 4.01%, 3.45%, 3.41%, 2.62% respectively.
