NIFTY FIFTY RECOUPED HALF OF LOSSES IN LATE TRADE AND ENDED WITH LOSSES.

Nifty Fifty settled the day at 11,359.90, down 1.00%. It touched high of 11,554.20 and low of 11,247.90.About 11 shares rise and 39 shares fall. Market trade with negative notes amid sell-off in banking & financials. All the sectorial Indexes were in the loser side. Auto, Energy, FMCG, Pharma, Bank, IT, Metal, Realty, Media Indexes were having losses of 0.39%, 0.74%, 1.07%, 1.08%, 1.30%, 1.54%, 1.75%, 4.12%, 4.32% respectively.

Auto Index ended the trading session at 7,464.10,recorded a loss of 0.39%. Shares of Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti, Eicher Motors were in the gainer side with a gain of 2.17%,1.05%,0.34% respectively while shares of Apollo tyre, Bosch ltd, Ashok Leyland, MRF, Amara Raja Batteries Limited, Tata Motors, Hero Moto Corp, TVs Motors, Bajaj Auto, Mother Son Sumi System, Exide Industries Limited, Bharat Forg were in the loser side with a loss of 6.63% ,3.73%, 2.77%, 2.43%, 2.24%, 2.09%, 1.02%, 0.94%, 0.88%, 0.86%,0.61%, 0.47% subsequently.

Energy Index has a loss of 0.74% with shares of Tata Power,ONGC, Reliance, Adani transporation, Powergrid, Gail, NTPC lose by 4.96%, 2.58%, 2.14%, 2.01%, 1.18%, 1.12%, 0.38% respectively while shares of BPCL, Hindustan Petroleum, IOC were the gainers, gained by 4.85%,2.55%,1.09% respectively.

FMCG Index has a downward momentum during the trading session which has recorded a loss of 1.07%. HUL was the only gainer with a gain of 0.57% while shares of USL, Jubilant Food works Limited, Dabur, Tata Global, UBL, Marico, PGHH were the top losers with a loss of 3.22%, 1.94%, 1.87%, 1.81%,1.64%,1.60%, 1.45% subsequently.

Pharma Index has registered a loss of 1.08% which closed at 7,466.45. PEL was the only gainer in this index with a gain of 3.71% while stocks like Cipla, Divi’s Lab, Auro Pharma, Lupin, Glenmark, Sun Pharma, Dr. Reddy, Biocon were in the loser side with a loss of 3.22%, 2.49%, 2.02%,1.84%,1.71%, 0.37%,0.19%, 0.04% respectively.

Bank Index was in the negative territory with a loss of 1.30%. Shares of HDFC Bank, Kotak Bank were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 1.85%, 0.22% respectively whereas shares of YES Bank, RBL Bank, IndusInd Bank, SBI, IDFC First Bank, PNB,Federal Bank were the top losers with a loss of 22.22%, 7.86%,5.61%, 5.37%, 5.22%, 5.08%, 2.54%, 1.87%, 1.20%, 0.48% respectively.

IT Index has a downward motion during the trading session which recorded a loss of 1.54%. Shares of NIIT Tech, Wipro, TCS, HCL Tech, HExaware,Tech Mahindra were the top losers with a loss of 2.55%, 2.46%, 1.86%, 1.63%, 1.41%, 1.35% respectively while Mind tree was the only gainer with a gain of 1.86%.

Metal Index has a loss of 1.75% with shares of Jindal steel, Welcorp, Sail, Hindustan Copper, JSW steel, Coal India, Tata Steel lose by 5.26%,4.16%, 4.04%, 3.27%, 2.94%, 2.85%, 2.64% respectively while Shares of NMDC, Moil, Hindustan Zinc were the gainers with a gain of 9.36%, 1.57%, 0.16% respectively.

Realty Index ended the trading session at 248.10, recording a loss of 4.12%. Shares of DLF, Brigade, Godrej Properties, India bulls real-estate, Oberoi Realty, Sobha were the losers with a loss of 6.78%, 6.25%, 5.37%, 4.90%, 3.55%, 2.68% respectively while Phoenix Ltd was the only gainer in this Index with a gain of 0.29%.

Media Index lose the most in Today’s trading session which recorded a loss of 4.33%. Shares of Zee Limited, Dish TV, Zee Media, Network18,DB Corp, Balaji Tele films were the top losers with a loss of 10.73%, 10.19%, 5.91%, 4.23%, 4.10%,3.35% respectively while shares of Sun TV, Hathway, Inox Leisure, TV18 Broadcast were the gainers with a gain of 1.15%, 0.96%, 0.95%, 0.63% respectively.
