NIFTY FIFTY CLOSE HIGHER FOR THE FOURTH CONSECUTIVE SESSION

Nifty Fifty has witnessed a gain of 0.31% in today’s trading session which closed at 11,464.00.It touched intraday high of 11,481.05 and low of 11,411.10.Among NSE’s Nifty Fifty, 30 shares were in advance and 19 shares were in decline and 1 share unchanged. Nifty Fifty ended with positive notes due to Buying in counters such as Realty,IT and Pharma. Sectorial Indexes like Realty, IT, Pharma, Media, Energy Indexes were in the gainer side with a gain of 1.04%, 0.90%, 0.74%, 0.66%,0.32% respectively while Metal, Auto, FMCG, Bank Indexes were in the loser side with a loss of 0.37%, 0.19%, 0.09% respectively.

Realty Index emerged as the top gainer of today’s trading session which recorded a gain of 1.04%. Shares of Sun Teck, Sobha, DLF, Brigade, Oberoi Realty, Mahindra Lifespace, Godrej Properties were the gainers with a gain of 4.84%,1.90%, 1.76%, 0.87%, 0.51%, 0.40%, 0.29% respectively while shares of India bulls realestate, Prestige were the losers with a loss of 4.95%, 0.19% respectively.

IT Index has gained 0.90% with shares of Tata Elaxi, Mindtree, Wipro, Hexaware, HCL Tech, Tech Mahindra, Just Dial, TCS, Infosys gained by 3.12%, 2.50%, 2.15%, 2.09%, 1.50%, 1.04%, 0.92%, 0.87%, 0.35% respectively while NIIT Tech was the only loser with a loss of 1.31%.

Pharma Index has an upward motion during the trading session which recorded a gain of 0.74%. Shares of Lupin, Divi’s Lab, Auro Pharma, Dr.Reddy, Sun Pharma, Cadila healthcare were in the positive zone with a gain of 1.85%,1.77%,1.56%, 0.72%, 0.45%, 0.15% respectively while shares of Biocon, Glenmark, Cipla were in the negative Zone with a loss of 0.48%, 0.33%, 0.28%, 0.06% respectively.

Media Index has recorded a gain of 0.66% which closed at 1,752.25.Shares of Music Broadcast, DB Corp, Hathway, Zee Limited, Jagran, Balaji Tele films, PVR were the gainers with a gain of 5.94%, 5.25%, 4.87%, 3.71%, 0.77%, 0.29%, 0.18% respectively while shares of Zee Media, Saregama Limited,Network18,Inox Leisure, Sun TV, TV18 Broadcast, TV Today were the losers with a loss of 9.65%, 2.91%, 2.25%, 1.77%, 1.32%, 0.46%, 0.05% respectively.

Energy Index closed at 15,833.35,recorded a gain of 0.32% . Shares of BPCL, ONGC, Hindustan Petroleum, Reliance were the gainers with a gain of 4.31%, 3.14%, 0.80%, 0.76% respectively while shares of Tata Power, Adani Transportation, NTPC, Powergrid, Gail, IOC were the losers with a loss of 2.85%, 2.09%, 1.63%, 1.32%, 0.98%,0.44% respectively.

Bank Index has registered a loss of 0.06% to close at 25,538.80 which was earlier opened at 28,689.45.Stocks like YES Bank, IDFC First Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, IndusInd Bank were the gainers with a gain of 2.71%, 1.82%, 0.91%, 0.38%, 0.22% respectively whereas stocks like Federal Bank, RBL Bank, PNB, SBI, Bank of Baroda, Kotak Mahindra ,HDFC Bank were the losers with a loss of 3.12%, 2.59%, 1.12%,0.97%, 0.91%,0.66%, 0.13% respectively.

FMCG Index was in the negative territory with a loss of 0.09% which closed at 30,899.00.Shares of Emami Ltd, PGHH, Godrej Products, Nestle India, Dabur, UBL, USL, Godrej Industries Limited, HUL were the gainers with a gain of 6.04%,4.34%, 2.79%, 2.12%, 1.30%, 1.23%, 1.20%, 1.12%, 0.70% respectively while shares of Colgate Palmolive, Jubilant Food works Limited, ITC, Tata Global, Marico, Britannia were the losers with a loss of 2.08%, 1.49%, 1.45%, 1.13%, 0.30%,0.10% respectively.

Auto Index has lose 0.19% with shares of Exide Industries limited, Hero Moto Corp, Mother Son Sumi system, Amara raja Batteries Limited, Tata Motors, MRF, Maruti lose by 3.76%, 2.45%, 2.21%, 2.04%, 0.46%, 0.33%, 0.01% respectively while shares of Ashok Leyland, Apollo tyre, Bosch Ltd, Bharat Forg, TVS Motors, Bajaj auto, Eicher Motors were the gainers with a gain of 2.93%, 2.83%, 2.55%, 2.17%, 0.83%, 0.29%, 0.13% respectively.

Metal Index was the top loser of today’s trading session which recorded a loss of 0.37%. shares of Hindustan Copper, Welcorp, Coal India, NMDC, Hindustan Zinc,APL Apollo, National Aluminium, Moil, JSW steel were the gainers with a gain of 2.83%, 1.68%, 1.60%, 1.48%, 0.93%,0.37%, 0.36%, 0.34%, 0.05% respectively while shares of Vedanta Limited, Hindalco, Sail, Ratnamani, Jindal steel, Tata steel were the losers with a loss of 2.48%, 2.36%, 1.95%, 1.95%, 1.11%, 1.07%, 0.84% respectively.
