NIFTY FIFTY GAINED 87.15 POINTS OR 0.77% TO CLOSE AT 11,428.30

Nifty fifty has registered a gain of 0.77% which was opened at 11,360.85 and closed at 11,428.30. It Touched high of 11,462.35 and low of 11,342.10.About 41 shares rise while 9 shares declined. Market traded with positive notes due to positive global cues along with buying in blue-chip stocks. Sectorial Indexes like Auto, Metal, Bank, Media, Energy, FMCG, Pharma, Realty Indexes were the gainers whereas IT Index was the loser.

Auto Index was the top gainer of today’s trading session which recorded a gain of 2.23%. Stocks like Eicher Motors, Bosch Ltd, TVS Motors, Mother Son Sumi system, Hero Moto corp., Maruti, Mahindra & Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, Apollo tyre, MRF, Bajaj Auto, Exide Industries Limited were the gainers with a gain of 4.69%, 3.56%, 3.17%, 2.93%, 2.64%, 2.55%,2.44%, 2.29%,2.12%,2.09%, 1.78%, 1.71% respectively while shares of Bharat Forg, Tata Motors, Amara Raja Batteries Limited were the losers in this Index with a loss of 1.10%, 1.02%, 0.53% respectively.

Metal Index has an upward momentum during the trading session which recorded a gain of 1.56%. Shares of Hindustan Copper, Vedanta Limited, Jindal steel, NMDC, APL Apollo, National aluminium, Welcorp, Sail, Hindalco, Tata Steel, Coal India, Hindustan Zinc were in the gainer side with a gain of 4.11%, 4.03%, 4.02%, 3.77%, 2.81%,2.72%, 2.52%, 2.45%, 1.85%, 1.26%, 0.60%, 0.10% respectively while shares of JSW steel, Moil, Ratnamani were the losers with a loss of 0.88%, 0.71%, 0.22% respectively.

Bank Index started the trading session at 28,257.85 and ended the trading session at 28,555.10, recording a gain of 1.32%. Shares of Federal Bank, RBL Bank, Kotak Bank, Yes Bank,IDFC first Bank, IndusInd Bank were the top gainers with a gain of 2.64%, 2.36%, 1.99%,1.75%, 1.72%, 1.68% respectively while Bank of Baroda was the only loser with a loss of 0.45%.

Media Index has gained 1.31% with shares of Hathway, Dish TV, ZEE Limited, SUN TV, DB Corp, PVR,Jagran gained by 4.87%, 3.36%, 3.17%, 2.12%, 1.48%,1.41%,0.35% respectively whereas shares of Music Broadcast, Zee Media, Saregama Limited, TV Today, Network18,TV18 Broadcast ,Inox Leisure were the loser ,lose by 10.06%, 9.52%,4.50%, 2.89%, 0.74%, 0.68%, 0.58% respectively.

Energy Index opened at 15,668.00 and closed at 15,782.85 ,recorded a gain of 1.11%. Shares of Adani Transportation, ONGC, Gail, NTPC, IOC, Powergrid, BPCL, Reliance, Hindustan Petroleum were having positive notes with having a gain of 6.09%, 2.70%, 1.51%, 1.36%, 1.35%, 1.23%, 1.07%, 0.45% respectively while Tata Power wad the only loser with a loss of 0.25%.

FMCG Index has gained 1.10% with shares HUL, Britannia, Colgate Palmolive, ITC, UBL, Tata Global,USL, Godrej Industries Limited gained by 2.27%, 2.15%, 2.01%, 1.52%, 0.75%,0.67%, 0.38%, 0.37% respectively while shares of PGHH, Dabur, Nestle India, Marico, Emami Ltd, Jubilant Food works Limited, Godrej Products were the losers with a loss of 4.36%, 1.10%,0.59%,0.57%, 0.56%,0.31%, 0.10% respectively.

Pharma Index was in the positive territory which has recorded a gain of 0.80% Shares of Biocon, Glenmark, Cipla, Dr. Reddy,Cadila healthcare, Lupin, Sun Pharma, Divi’s Lab, PEL were the gainers with a gain of 2.82%, 2.41%,1.22%,1.17%, 0.56%, 0.54%, 0.39%, 0.38%, 0.19% respectively while Auro Pharma was the loser with a loss of 1.02%.

Realty Index has recorded a gain of 0.65% which was opened at 252.80 and closed at 253.70. Shares of Prestige, Sun Teck, Oberoi Realty,DLF, Sobha were the gainers with a gain of 4.37%, 2.21%,2.02%, 0.97%, 0.60% respectively while shares of India bulls realeste,Godrej Properties, Mahindra Life space, Phoenix Ltd, Brigade were the losers with a loss of 3.29%, 1.33%, 1.18%, 0.30%, 0.16% respectively.

IT Index stood as the only loser of today’s trading session which recorded a loss of 0.45%. Shares of NIIT Tech, TCS,Tata Elaxi, HCL Tech, Wipro, Tech Mahindra were the gainers with a gain of 1.62%, 0.83%, 0.70%, 0.11%, 0.02% , 0.02% respectively while shares of Just Dial, Infosys, Mind tree, Hexaware were the losers with a loss of 5.18%, 2.18%, 0.51%,0.20% respectively.
