NIFTY FIFTY STAYED POSITIVE FOR THE SECOND CONSECUTIVE SESSION

Nifty fifty has registered a gain of 0.32% to close at 11,341.15 which was earlier opened at 11,335.90.It touched high of 11,420.45 and low of 11,290.05.About36 shares rise and 14 shares fall. Market traded with positive notes due to gains in major Asian peers. Among Sectoral Indices, Realty, Auto, Pharma, Metal, Energy, Media, FMCG, Bank were the gainers with a gain of while IT Index was the loser of today’s trading session.

Realty Index was the top gainer of today’s trading session which recorded a gain of 1.92%. Shares of DLF, India bulls real-estate, Sun Teck, Prestige, Mahindra Life space, Sobha, Godrej Properties were in the gainer side with a gain of 6.08%, 4.95%, 1.60%, 1.25%, 1.24%, 0.48%, 0.32% respectively while shares of Brigade, Oberoi realty, Phoenix Ltd were the losers with a loss of 2.16%, 0.62%, 0.55% respectively.

Auto Index was trading in the positive territory with a gain of 1.67% led by the stocks like Tata Motors, Mother Son Sumi System, Bharat Forg, Bajaj Auto, Apollo tyre, Maruti, Mahindra & Mahindra up by 5.03%, 2.81%,2.64%, 1.77%, 1.74%, 1.59%, 1.37%, 1.24%, 1.03%, 0.90%, 0.72%, 0.54%, 0.38% respectively while shares of Ashok Leyland, Exide Industries Limited were the losers with a loss of 1.60%, 0.05% respectively.

Pharma Index started the trading session at 7,296.05 and ended the trading session at 7,361.70,recorded a gain of 1.14%. Shares of Auro Pharma, Sun Pharma, Biocon, Lupin, Cadila healthcare, PEL, Divi’s Lab were the gainers with a gain of 3.86%, 2.38%, 2.28%, 1.95%, 1.26%, 0.79%, 0.30% respectively while shares of Glenmark, Cipla,Dr. Reddy were the losers with a loss of 2.25%, 0.10%, 0.05% respectively.

Metal Index has an upward momentum during the trading session which recorded a gain of 0.99%. Stocks like Jindal steel, JSW steel, Tata Steel, Hindustan Copper, NMDC, Sail, Ratnamani were the gainers with a gain of 2.00%, 1.96%, 1.67%,1.51%, 1.40%, 1.24%,0.73% respectively while shares of National aluminium, Welcorp, Hindustan Zinc were the losers with a loss of 1.34%, 0.58%, 0.10% respectively.

Energy Index has gained 0.64% with shares of ONGC, Adani Transporation, IOC, NTPC, Gail, Hindustan Petroleum, Reliance gained by 5.50%, 1.33%, 1.05%, 0.90%, 0.84%, 0.55%,0.32% respectively whereas shares of Tata Power, Powergrid, BPCL were the loser ,lose by 1.88%, 1.00%, 0.42% respectively.

Media Index has a positive note which recorded a gain of 0.64%. Shares of Hathway, DB Corp, Network18,Jagran, Sun TV, Balaji Telefilms, Inox Leisure, Saregama limited, Music Broadcast limited were the gainers with a gain of 4.85%, 3.53%, 3.31%, 2.77%, 2.63%, 1.90%, 0.335, 0.20%, 0.14% respectively while shares of Zee Media, TV today, Dish TV, TV18 Broadcast, Zee Limited, PVR were the losers with a loss of 9.35%, 2.27%, 1.49%, 0.91%, 0.21%, 0.07% respectively.

FMCG Index closed at 30,591.00 ,recorded a gain of 0.57%. Shares of Dabur, Colgate Palmolive, Britannia, Tata Global, UBL, USL, Godrej Industries Limited, Emami Ltd, Nestle India were having positive notes with having a gain of 2.13%, 1.64%, 1.27%, 1.27%, 1.10%, 0.94%, 0.86%, 0.65%, 0.55% respectively while Godrej Products was the only loser with a loss of 0.24%.

Bank Index has gained 0.50% with shares of IndusInd Bank, YES Bank, Axis Bank, IDFC Bank, PNB, HDFC Bank, SBI gained by 2.23%, 2.15%, 1.68%, 0.93%, 0.70%, 0.47%,0.29% respectively while shares of RBL Bank, Bank of Baroda, Federal Bank, Kotak Bank,ICICI Bank were the losers with a loss of 3.87%, 3.19%, 2.02%, 0.36%, 0.22% respectively.

IT Index stood as the only loser of today’s trading session which recorded a loss of 0.29%. Shares of Tata Elaxi, TCS, Wipro, Mindtree, Hexaware, HCL Tech ,Tech Mahindra were the gainers with a gain of 2.39%, 1.72%, 1.65%, 0.68%, 0.37%, 0.33%, 0.01% respectively while shares of Infosys, NIIT Tech, Just Dial were the losers with a loss of 3.50%, 1.35%, 0.99% respectively.
