DAILY CURRENCY MARKET 16th OCT 2019

The Rupee opened 4 paise lower against dollar at 71.58 on Wednesday increasing demand for the US dollar. USD/INR touched intraday low of 71.36 and high of 71.72.The rupee closed 11 paise higher at 71.43 against US dollar. Meanwhile, The BSE Sensex ended 92.90 points or 0.24% higher at 38598.99, and NSE Nifty closed 35.70 points or 0.31% higher at 11464.00.

The Indian currency (INR) was trading at 78.80 as against Euro. The currency pair EUR/INR opened at 78.93 which was previously close at 78.76. The Currency pair GBP/INR and JPY/INR were trading at 91.06 and 0.65 respectively. The other currency pairs ZAR/INR, MYR/INR, SAR/INR and AED/INR were trading at 4.78, 17.05, 19.04 and 19.45 subsequently.

The USD/JPY was trading at 108.73. The currency pair EUR/USD was trading at 1.10. The paired currency EUR/JPY was trading at 119.99. Elsewhere, the currency pair GBP/USD was trading at 1.28. The other currencies pairs AUD/USD, NZD/USD, MYR/USD and SAR/USD were trading at 0.67, 0.63, 0.24 and 0.27 respectively.
