NIFTY SETTLED AT 11,922.80, DOWN 23.10 POINTS OR 0.19 PER CENT LOWER.

Nifty Fifty has witnessed a loss of 0.19% to closed at 11,922.80 which was earlier opened at 11,999.80. Market ended with negative notes after the Rashtrapati Bhavan announced the list of ministers in the new government's Cabinet. Sectorial Indexes like IT, Energy Indexes were in the gainer side with a gain of 1.02%, 0.22% respectively whereas Realty, Pharma, Bank, FMCG, Auto, Metal, Media Indexes were in the loser side with a loss of 0.23%, 0.23%, 0.51%, 0.51%, 0.73%, 0.83%, 1.00% respectively.

IT Index gained the most in today’s trading session which recorded a gain of 1.02%. Shares of Tech Mahindra, TCS, HCL Tech, OFSS, Infosys, NIIT Tech were the gainers with a gain of 3.81%, 2.50%, 1.09%, 0.61%, 0.47%,0.14% respectively while shares of Infibeam, Tata Elaxi, Wipro, Mind tree were the losers with a loss of 9.48%, 1.44%,0.50%, 0.29% respectively.

Energy Index has a gain of 0.22% which closed at 16,560.35.Shares of IOC, Hindustan Petroleum, ONGC, Gail, Reliance Infra,BPCL, Reliance were the gainers in this index with a gain of 2.07%, 1.94%, 1.50%, 0.75%, 0.39%, 0.09%, 0.03% whereas shares of Tata Power, NTPC, Powergrid were the losers, lose by 2.48%, 1.59%, 0.92% respectively.

Realty Index ended the trading session at 283.95, recorded a loss of 0.23%. Shares of Phoenix Ltd, Sun Teck, Prestige, Mahindra Life space were in the positive territory with a gain of 3.13%, 1.07%, 0.26%, 0.06% respectively while shares of DLF, Oberoi Realty, Brigade, Sobha, India bulls real-estate, Godrej Properties were in the negative territory with a loss of 2.39%, 1.07%, 0.87%, 0.65%,0.40%, 0.19% respectively.

Pharma Index was in the negative territory during the trading session which registered a loss of 0.23%. Shares of PEL, Dr. Reddy, Divi’s Lab, Lupin were having positive notes with a gain of 1.03%, 0.70%, 0.44%, 0.11% respectively while shares of Cadila healthcare, Auro Pharma, Glenmark, Cipla, Sunpharma, Biocon were the losers with a loss of 3.64%, 2.27%, 1.73%, 0.61%, 0.51%, 0.35% respectively.

Bank Index closed at 31,375.40 ,recorded a loss of 0.51%. Stocks like IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank were in the gainer side with a gain of 1.20%, 0.43% respectively while stocks like Yes Bank, Bank of Baroda, PNB,IDFC First Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Bank, RBL Bank,HDFC Bank, Federal Bank, SBI were in the loser side with a loss of 4.81%, 1.26%, 1.17%, 1.09%, 1.08%, 1.00%, 0.81%,0.56%, 0.46%, 0.30% respectively.

FMCG Index has lose 0.51% with shares of ITC, Jubilant Food works Limited, UBL, Coalgate Palmolive, GSK Cons lose by 3.50%, 1.29%, 0.89%, 0.57%, 0.17% respectively while shares of Godrej Products, Tata Global, USL, Marico, Emami Ltd, Godrej Industries Limited were the top gainers with a gain of 4.85%, 3.31%, 2.48%, 2.04%, 2.01%, 1.71% respectively.

Auto Index has a downward tendency during the trading session which recorded a loss of 0.73%. Shares of Bosch Ltd, Eicher Motors, MRF were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 3.12%, 0.29%, 0.10% while shares of Apollo Tyre,Mother Son sumi system, Mahindra & Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, Hero Moto Corp, Tata Motors, Exide Industries Limited were the top losers with a loss of 2.33%, 2.21%,2.07%, 1.88%, 1.56%, 1.48%,1.03% respectively.

Metal Index has lose 0.82% with shares of Hindustan Copper, Jindal Steel, Vedanta Limited, NMDC, Jindal Stainless limited, JSW Steel lose by 2.86%, 2.50%, 2.13%, 2.09%, 2.07%, 2.02% respectively while shares of Moil, Coal India, National Aluminium were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 0.99%, 0.38%, 0.30% respectively.

Media Index was the top loser of today’s trading session which recorded a loss of 1.00%. Shares of TV Today,DB Corp, Inox Leisure, Hathway, Sun TV, PVR were the gainers with a gain of 3.42%, 1.56%, 1.13%, 1.01%,0.40%, 0.13% respectively while shares of Dish TV, TV18 Broadcast, DEN, Zee Media, Eros Media, Zee Limited, Navneet Education Limited,Network18,Jagran were in the losers side with a loss of 6.60%, 4.28%,3.06%, 2.72%, 2.65%, 2.23%,0.95%, 0.31%, 0.09% respectively.
