NIFTY FIFTY STAYED VOLATILE DURING THE TRADING SESSION

Nifty Fifty ended at 11,928.75, witnessed a gain of 0.03% which was earlier opened at 11,958.35. Nifty fifty ended with positive note driven by Media and IT stocks. Sectorial Indexes like Media, IT, Metal, Energy, Realty Indexes were in the gainer side with a gain of 1.98%, 1.32%, 0.92%, 0.64%, 0.12% respectively while FMCG, Pharma, Bank, Auto Indexes were in the loser side with a loss of 0.12%, 0.13%, 0.16%, 0.76% respectively.

Media Index gained the most in today’s trading session which recorded a gain of 1.98%. Stocks like Zee Media, Dish TV, Zee Limited, Hathway, DB Corp, PVR were the gainers with a gain of 6.36%,5.81%, 5.26%, 0.99%, 0.70%, 0.38% respectively while shares of TV Today, Network18,TV18 Broadcast, Inox Leisure, Sun TV, DEN, Navneet Education Limited, Eros Media, Jagran were the losers with a loss of 3.64%, 1.65%, 1.32%, 0.45%, 0.33%, 0.25%, 0.22%, 0.14%, 0.14% respectively.

IT Index has an upward momentum during the trading session which recorded a gain of 1.32% . Shares of Infibeam, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Tata Elaxi, OFSS, TCS, HCL Tech, Mind tree were in the gainer side with a gain of 4.36%, 2.56%, 1.57%, 1.43%, 0.99%, 0.69%, 0.63%, 0.39% respectively while NIIT Tech was the only loser of today’s trading session with a loss of 0.43% .

Metal Index ended the trading session at 2,992.95, recorded a gain of 0.92%. Shares of Hindustan Copper, Welcorp, Coal India, Jindal stainless limited, JSW Steel, Vedanta Limited, Jindal steel, Hindalco were the gainers with a gain of 5.54%, 4.87%, 2.29%, 1.80%, 1.62%, 1.02%, 0.36%, 0.32% respectively whereas shares of Moil, National Aluminium, Tata Steel, APL Apollo, Hindustan Zinc, Sail, NMDC were the losers with a loss of 2.25%, 1.56%, 1.24%, 1.12%, 1.04%, 0.65%, 0.20% respectively.

Energy Index recorded a gain of 0.64% which closed at 16,487.95.Shares of Reliance Infra, Powergrid, Reliance, IOC, ONGC, Hindustan Petroleum, Gail, BPCL were having positive notes with a gain of 2.32%, 1.95%,1.48%, 1.05%, 0.66%,0.43%, 0.10%, 0.05% respectively. Shares of NTPC, Tata Power were having negative notes with a loss of 0.56%,0.14% respectively.

Realty Index has gained 0.12% with shares of Brigade, Mahindra Life space, Prestige, Phoenix Ltd gained by 2.99%,2.45%,1.60%,1.25% respectively whereas Shares of Sobha, DLF, Oberoi realty,Godrej Properties, Sun Teck, India bulls real-estate, Phoenix Ltd were the losers in this Index with a loss of 1.14%, 0.94%, 0.68%, 0.42%, 0.16%, 0.04% respectively.

FMCG Index has witnessed a loss of 0.12% with shares of Emami Ltd, Godrej Industries Limited, PGHH, Dabur,ITC, Colgate Palmolive, Britannia lose by 4.43%, 3.29%,0.87%, 0.75%, 0.65%, 0.31%, 0.23% respectively whereas shares of USL, Tata Global, Godrej Products, GSK Cons, HUL, UBL, Marico, Jubilant Food works Limited were the gainers in this Index with a gain 1.57%, 1.44%, 1.00%, 0.89%, 0.735, 0.54%, 0.23%, 0.13% respectively.

Pharma Index has a downward momentum during the trading session which recorded a loss of 0.13%. Shares of Cadila healthcare, Divi’s Lab, PEL, Lupin were in the gainer side with a gain of 2.73%, 1.35%, 0.45%, 0.09% respectively while shares of Biocon, Auro Pharma, Glenmark, Dr. Reddy, Cipla, Sun Pharma were in the loser side with a loss of 1.43%, 1.06%, 0.62%, 0.24%, 0.11%, 0.08% respectively.

Bank Index closed at 31,597.90 , recorded a loss of 0.16%. Shares of Yes Bank, RBL Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, IndusInd Bank were in the gainer side with a gain of 4.50%, 0.55%, 0.48%, 0.34%, 0.31% respectively while shares of PNB,Bank of Baroda, Kotak Bank, Axis Bank, Federal Bank, IDFC First Bank¸SBI were the losers with a loss of 3.53%, 1.10%, 0.94%, 0.72%, 0.69%, 0.54%,0.40% respectively.

Auto Index was the top loser of today’s trading session which recorded a loss of 0.76%. Shares of Mother Son Sumi System, Bharat Forg, TVS Motors, Bosch Ltd, Ashok Leyland were the gainers with a gain of 3.23%, 1.36%, 0.69%, 0.44%, 0.05% respectively while shares of Bajaj Auto, Hero Moto Corp, Mahindra & Mahindra ,Tata Motors, Exide Industries Limited, MRF, Apollo tyre were the top losers with a loss of 3.09%, 2.56%, 1.44%, 0.83%, 0.53%,0.46%,0.43% respectively.
