NIFTY CONTINUED ITS POSITIVE MOMENTUM FOR THE SECOND CONSECUTIVE TRADING SESSION

Nifty Fifty has witnessed a gain of 0.68% which closed at 11,924.75.Market ended with positive notes driven by Realty, Metal and bank stocks. Sectorial Indexes like Realty, Metal, Bank, Energy, FMCG, Auto Indexes were in the gainer side with a gain of 2.18%, 2.11%, 1.39%,0.71%, 0.47%, 0.02% respectively while IT, Media, Pharma Indexes were the losers with a loss of 0.08%,0.83%, 0.97% respectively.

Realty Index was the top gainer of today’s trading session which registered a gain of 2.18%. Shares of Prestige, Godrej Properties, Mahindra Lifespace, Oberoi Realty, Sobha, DLF, Sun Teck were the gainers with a gain of 5.86%, 5.07%, 3.31%, 2.59%, 2.58%, 2.45%,0.26% respectively while shares of India bulls real-estate, Brigade, Phoenix Ltd were the losers with a loss of 3.10%, 1.32%, 0.49% respectively.

Metal Index has an upward momentum during the trading session which recorded a gain of 2.11%. Shares of Jindal stainless limited, Tata Steel, NMDC, Jindal steel, Sail, National Aluminium, Hindustan Copper, Hindalco, Moil, Vedanta Limited, APL Apollo, Hindustan Zinc were the gainers with a gain of 8.86%, 5.80%, 4.29%, 3.95%, 3.78%, 3.32%,2.73%, 2.15%, 1.79%,1.53%, 0.68%, 0.51% respectively while shares of Welcorp, JSW Steel, Coal India were the losers with a loss of 1.59%, 0.52%, 0.20% respectively.

Bank Index ended the trading session at 31,647.65, recorded a gain of 1.39% which was earlier opened at 31,234.90. Shares of RBL Bank, YES Bank, Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, Federal Bank, IDFC First Bank, SBI, HDFC Bank,PNB, Kotak Bank, ICICI Bank were in the positive territory with a gain of 4.42%, 3.93%, 2.62%, 2.29%, 2.18%, 1.78%, 1.39%, 1.33%, 1.25%,1.21%,0.76% respectively while IndusInd Bank was the only loser with a loss of 2.00%.

Energy Index has witnessed a gain of 0.71% which closed at 16,382.65. Stocks like Tata Power, Hindustan Petroleum, IOC, NTPC, Gail, BPCL, Powergrid were the gainers with a gain of 4.87%, 4.45%, 3.38%, 3.37%, 1.90%, 1.63%, 1.00% respectively while stocks like Reliance, ONGC, Reliance Infra were the losers with a loss of 1.77%, 0.72%, 0.27% respectively.

FMCG Index has gained 0.47% with shares of Britannia, Colgate Palmolive, Jubilant food works Limited, HUL, Godrej Products, GSK Cons, Dabur, PGHH, Marico, Godrej Industries Limited,ITC gained by 1.72%, 1.54%, 1.37%, 1.17%, 0.95%, 0.92%, 0.85%, 0.64%, 0.52%, 0.34%, 0.15% respectively while shares of UBL,USL, Emami Ltd, Tata Global were the losers, lose by 3.35%,2.18%, 0.75%, 0.60% respectively.

Auto Index closed at 8,462.20, recorded a gain of 0.02% . Shares of Mahindra & Mahindra, Apollo tyre, Bharat Forg, TVS Motors, Amara raja Batteries Limited, Eicher Motors were the gainers with a gain of 2.00%, 1.93%,0.77%, 0.60%, 0.53%,0.14% respectively while shares of Ashok Leyland, Exide Industries Limited, Mother Son Sumi system, Maruti were the top losers with a loss of 2.68%,1.66%,1.56%,0.80% respectively.

IT Index has lose 0.08% with shares of Tech Mahindra, Wipro, OFSS lose by 1.19%,0.90%, 0.22% respectively while shares of Infibeam, Tata Elaxi, NIIT Tech ,TCS, Mind tree, Infosys were the gainers, gained by 3.04%,1.22%,0.71%,0.49%,0.09%, 0.04% respectively.

Media Index has an downward motion during the trading session which recorded a loss of 0.83%. Shares of TV Today, Inox Leisure, Navneet Education Limited, Jagran, Network18,Zee Media, DB Corp were the top gainers, gained by 5.46%, 2.96%, 2.25%, 2.23%, 1.99%, 1.44%, 1.02% respectively while shares of Zee Limited, Eros Media, Dish TV, DEN were the losers, lose by 4.47%,3.26%, 1.92%, 0.91% respectively.

Pharma Index lose the most in today’s trading session which was closed at 8,525.00.Shares of Biocon, Cipla, Cadila healthcare, Glenmark were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 3.25%, 1.21%, 0.89%, 0.18% respectively while shares of Divi’s Lab, Lupin, PEL, Sun Pharma, Dr. Reddy, Auro Pharma were in the loser side with a loss of 9.95%, 2.38%, 0.65%, 0.30%,0.22%, 0.11% respectively.
