NIFTY WITNESSED HUGE SELLING PRESSURE DURING CLOSING HOURS AND ENDED THE TRADING SESSION DEEP IN THE RED.

Nifty Fifty witnessed a loss of 1.01% which was opened at 11,863.65 and closed at 11,709.10.Market ended with negative notes as exit polls euphoria fades.All the sectorial Indexes were in the loser side . Sectorial Indexes like FMCG, Pharma, Realty, Energy, IT, Bank, Metal, Media, Auto Indexes were having a loss of 0.03%, 0.21%, 0.39%, 0.94%, 1.26%, 1.47%, 1.55%, 2.32%, 2.52% subsequently.

FMCG Index opened at 30,557.65 and closed at 30,537.90,recorded a loss of 0.03%. Shares of UBL, Britannia, HUL, GSK Cons were the gainers with a gain of 4.06%, 1.26%,0.87%, 0.09% subsequently while shares of Godrej Products, Emami Ltd, Godrej Industries Limited, Tata Global,USL, Colgate Palmolive, Marico ,ITC were the top losers with a loss of 2.71%, 2.64%, 2.09%, 1.59%, 0.57%, 0.56%,0.50%,0.20% respectively.

Pharma Index started the trading session at 8,517.00 and ended the trading session at 8,488.25, reporting a loss of 0.21%. Shares of Dr. Reddy, Divi’s Lab, Auro Pharma were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 2.92%, 2.30%,0.19% respectively while stocks like PEL, Cadila healthcare, Lupin, Cipla, Sun Pharma, Biocon, Glenmark were in the loser side with a loss of 2.75%, 2.29%, 1.72%, 1.20%, 1.19%, 0.76%, 0.26% respectively .

Realty Index has witnessed a loss of 0.39% with shares of India bulls real-estate, Oberoi Realty, DLF, Brigade, Godrej Properties lose by 4.39%, 2.22%,1.44%, 0.61%,0.06% subsequently whereas shares of Sobha, Phoenix Ltd, Prestige, Sun Teck, Mahindra Lifespace were the gainers with a gain of 4.98%, 3.02%, 2.26%,0.30%,0.30% respectively.

Energy Index has a decent loss of 0.94% which opened at 16,324.45 and closed at 16,087.40.Reliance was the only gainer with a gain of 1.06% while shares BPCL, Reliance Infra, IOC, Hindustan Petroleum,Powergrid, Tata Power, Gail, ONGC, NTPC were the losers with a loss of 4.20%, 2.88%, 2.60%, 2.56%, 2.15%, 2.05%, 1.91%, 0.99%,0.58% respectively.

IT Index has a downward tendency which recorded a loss of 1.26%. Shares of NIIT Tech,Mindtree were the gainers in this index with a gain of 1.69%,0.03% respectively while shares of Tata Elaxi, Infosys, TCS,HCL Tech, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Infibeam, OFSS were the losers with a loss of 2.37%, 1.82%, 1.76%, 1.28%, 1.15%, 1.02%, 0.98%, 0.49% subsequently.

Bank Index was in the negative territory during session which opened at 30,862.10 and closed at 30,308.40.Shares of Bank of Baroda, IDFC First Bank were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 2.60%, 0.46% respectively while stocks like PNB,IndusInd Bank, SBI, Federal Bank, ICICI Bank, YES Bank, RBL,Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, Kotak Bank were the losers with a loss of 3.45%, 3.38%,2.25%, 2.12%, 1.82%, 1.71%, 1.68%, 1.19%, 0.96%, 0.84% respectively.

Metal Index started the trading session at 2,912.55 and ended the trading session at 2,854.25.Shares of Moil, Jindal stainless Limited were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 0.84%, 0.26% respectively while shares of National Aluminium, Welcorp, NMDC, APL Apollo, Tata Steel, JSW Steel, Hindustan Zinc, Sail, Hindalco were in the negative territory with a loss of 4.47%, 3.99%,2.81%, 2.75%, 2.42%, 2.28%, 2.11%, 1.85%, 1.51% respectively .

Media Index has a downward motion which opened at 2,231.20 and closed at 2,174.90 .Shares of Hathway, PVR, Inox Leisure were the gainer in this Index with a gain of 3.16%,0.50%,0.09% respectively whereas shares of Dish TV, DEN, Zee Limited, Sun TV,TV Today, Network18, Eros Media were the losers with a loss of 5.72%, 5.01%, 4.33%, 3.35%,2.64%, 2.27%, 2.26% respectively.

Auto Index was the top loser of today’s trading session which recorded a loss of 2.52%. Shares of Ashok Leyland, Apollo tyre were the gainers of this Index with a gain of 0.86%, 0.14% respectively while shares of Tata Motors, Motther son Sumi System, Bharat Forg, Maruti, Exide Industries Limited, Amara raja Batteries Limited, Hero Moto Corp were the top losers with a loss of 6.60%, 5.16%,3.71%, 3.00%, 2.70%, 2.09%,2.07% respectively.
