NIFTY FIFTY STAYED VOLATILE THROUGHOUT THE DAY AND ENDED WITH A SMALL GAINS OF 0.23%.

Nifty Fifty settled higher 26.90 points, or 0.23%, at 11,870.65 with 20 constituents advancing and 29 declining and 1 Unchanged. Nifty rose 0.23% due to strong global cues along with recovery in Bank and IT Sector. Sectorial Indexes like Bank, IT Indexes were in the gainer side with a gain of 0.68%,0.61% respectively whereas Media, FMCG ,Auto, Realty, Metal,Energy,Pharma Indexes were in the losers side with a loss of 0.02%,0.29% 0.42%, 0.48%, 0.55%, 0.63%, 1.20% respectively.

Bank Index was the top gainer of Today’s Trading session which recorded a gain of 0.68%. Shares of IndusInd Bank, SBI, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Federal Bank, IDFC First Bank, RBL Bank were the gainers with a gain of 2.26%, 1.57%, 1.43%, 0.98%, 0.95%, 0.35%, 0.21% respectively while shares of Bank of Baroda, YES Bank, PNB, Axis Bank, Kotak Bank were the losers with loss of 2.81%, 2.37%, 0.75%, 0.46%, 0.28% respectively.

IT Index has an upward momentum during the trading session which recorded a gain of 0.61%. Shares of Infibeam, Tech Mahindra,Wipro,NIIT Tech, TCS, Mind tree, Infosys, Tata Elaxi were in the positive territory with a gain of 5.54%, 1.49%, 1.13%, 0.68%, 0.63%, 0.52%, 0.39%, 0.32% respectively while shares of OFSS,HCL Tech were the losers with a loss of 1.73%,0.02% respectively.

Media Index closed at 2,131.45, recorded a loss of 0.02%. Stocks like Dish TV, Jagran, Zee Media, PVR, Navneet Education Limited, Hathway were the gainers with a gain of 2.72%,2.26%, 1.89%, 1.64%, 0.86%, 0.81% respectively while stocks like Eros Media, Den, Inox Leisure, Network18,TV18 Broadcast, Sun TV, TV Today, DB Corp, Zee Limited were the losers with a loss of 15.05%,5.10%, 2.66%,2.12%,0.73%, 0.22%, 0.09%, 0.08%, 0.03% respectively.

FMCG Index was in the negative territory with a loss of 0.29%. Shares of Tata Global, PGHH, Dabur, Britannia gained by 1.70%,1.21%,0.27%,0.06% respectively while shares of Godrej Industries Limited, Emmai Ltd, Jubilant food works Limited, USL, Godrej Products, Colgate Plmolive, UBL, HUL, Marico, GSK Cons were the losers, lose by 1.82%,1.51%,1.24%,1.07%, 1.04%,0.58%,0.44%,0.36%,0.23%,0.02% respectively.

Auto Index closed at 8,192.00,recorded a loss of 0.42%. Shares of Mahindra & Mahindra, Mother son Sumi System were the gainers with a gain of 1.40%,0.44% respectively while shares of Apollo tyre, Amara Raja Batteries Limited, Ashok Leyland, TVS Motors, Exide Industries Limited,Bosch Ltd,Bajaj auto, Hero Moto Corp were the top losers with a loss of 3.56%, 2.60%,1.64%,1.57%, 1.32%, 1.18%, 1.07%,0.96% respectively.

Realty Index has lose 0.48% with shares of Prestige,Indiabulls realestate,Sun Teck, Phoenix Ltd lose by 4.80%, 2.36%, 1.94%,0.50% respectively whereas shares of Godrej Properties,Brigade,Sobha,Mahindra Lifespace,Oberoi Realty were the gainers, gained by 3.71%,1.17%, 0.47%,0.24%, 0.06% respectively .

Metal Index has an downward motion during the trading session which recorded a loss of 0.55%. Shares of APL Apollo, Vedanta Limited, NMDC,National Aluminium were the gainers with a gain of 0.93%,0.77%, 0.77%, 0.77%, 0.20% respectively while shares of Hindustan Zinc,Hindustsn Copper,JSW Steel, Coal India, Jindal stainless Limited,Hindalco,Welcorp,Moil were the losers with a loss of 2.12%, 1.96%, 1.72%, 1.54%, 1.01%, 0.54%, 0.51%, 0.44%, 0.18%, 0.07%,0.07% respectively.

Energy Index closed at 16,231.15, recorded a loss of 0.63%. Shares of Tata Power,BPCL,Hindustan Petroleum,IOC were the gainers with a gain of 1.69%,1.56%,1.01%,0.09% respectively whereas shares of Reliance Infra, Powergrid, NTPC, Reliance, ONGC, Gail were the losers with a loss of 13.49%,1.79%, 1.28%,1.23%, 1.09%, 0.81% respectively.

Pharma Index was the top loser of today’s trading session which recorded a loss of 1.20%. PEL was the only gainer in this Index with a gain of 1.69% while Stocks like Biocon,Dr. Reddy, Cipla, Glenmark, Cadila healthcare, Sun Pharma, Divi’s Lab, Auro Pharma, Lupin were in the loser side with a loss of 3.00%,2.91%, 1.83%, 1.65%, 1.34%, 1.27%, 1.03%,0.81%, 0.76% respectively.
