NIFTY FIFTY FAILED TO HOLD 11,900 AND ENDED THE SESSION WITH FLAT NOTES

Nifty Fifty closed at 11,841.55, recorded a loss of 0.05% which was earlier opened at 11,860.85. Market ended with slight negative notes due to due to F&O expiry and correction in European indices . It touched a high of 11,911.15 and low of 11,821.25.Among NSE’s Nifty Fifty, 28 stocks rose, 22 stocks fell. Sectorial Indexes like Realty, Auto, Bank, Pharma Indexes were in the gainer side with a gain of 1.91%,1.11%,0.34%, 0.02% respectively while FMCG, Media, Metal, Energy, IT Indexes were in the loser side with a loss of 0.13%, 0.21%, 0.29%, 0.31%,0.68% respectively.

Realty Index emerged as the top gainer of today’s trading session which has recorded a gain of 1.91%. Shares of Brigade, Prestige, Godrej Properties, Sobha, Sun Teck, Oberoi Realty, DLF, Mahindra Life space, Phoenix Ltd were the gainers with a gain of 5.87%,5.02%,4.06%, 3.22%, 1.86%,1.38%, 1.06%, 0.11%, 0.05% respectively while India bulls real-estate was the only loser in this Index with a loss of 0.69%.

Auto Index has witnessed a gain of 1.11% with shares of Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors, Mother Son Sumi System, Mahindra & Mahindra, Eicher Motors, Apollo Tyre, Bharat Forg, MRF, Hero Moto Corp, Exide Industries Limited, Amara raja Batteries Limited, Maruti gained by 2.74%, 2.48%, 2.36%, 2.32%, 1.71%, 1.42%,1.32%, 0.99%, 0.68%,0.57%, 0.49%, 0.03% respectively while shares of TVS Motors, Bajaj Auto, Bosch Ltd were the losers ,lose by 0.53%, 0.22%, 0.14% respectively.

Bank Index opened at 31,192.10 and closed at 31,269.50 ,recorded a gain of 0.34%. Shares of Federal Bank, Axis Bank, SBI, IndusInd Bank, RBL Bank, ICICI Bank were having positive notes with a gain of 3.59%, 1.51%,1.07%, 1.06%, 0.96%, 0.15% subsequently whereas shares of PNB, Kotak Bank, YES Bank, Bank of Baroda, IDFC First Bank, HDFC Bank were having negative notes with a loss of 1.27%,0.65%,0.49%, 0.37%, 0.35%, 0.30% respectively.

Pharma Index has an upward momentum during the trading session which recorded a gain of 0.02%. Stocks like PEL, Sun Pharma, Cadila healthcare, Divi’s Lab were in the gainer side with a gain of 3.54%, 0.86%, 0.23%, 0.19% respectively while stocks like Biocon, Auro Pharma, Glenmark, Cipla, Lupin, Dr. Reddy were the losers in this Index with a loss of 1.88%, 1.55%, 1.04%,1.03%, 0.48%, 0.35% respectively.

FMCG Index started the trading session at 29,591.25 and ended the trading session at 29,486.80, recorded a loss of 0.13%. Shares of Godrej Industries limited, Dabur, USL, GSK Cons, HUL, Jubilant food works, PGHH, Marico were emerged as the gainers with a gain of 2.76%,1.81%, 1.46%, 1.335, 0.72%, 0.38%, 0.29%, 0.24% respectively while shares of Emami Ltd, ITC, UBL, Godrej Products, Colgate Palmolive, Tata Global, Britannia were emerged as the losers with a loss of 5.46%, 1.23%, 0.91%, 0.31%, 0.27%, 0.24%, 0.15% respectively.

Media Index has lose 0.21% with shares of Eros Media, Sun TV, Hathway, Inox Leisure, TV18 Broadcast ,Zee Media lose by 4.99%, 2.91%, 2.70%, 1.38%, 1.21%, 0.80% respectively while shares of Dish TV, TV Today, DB Corp, DEN, Network18,Jagran, PVR, Zee Limited, Navneet Education Limited were the gainers with a gain of 3.65%, 2.87%, 1.81%, 1.45%, 0.55%, 0.28%, 0.25%, 0.12%,0.09% respectively.

Metal Index was in the negative territory during the trading session which recorded a loss of 0.29%. Shares of Jindal stainless limited, Hindustan Zinc, Moil, NMDC, National Aluminium, JSW Steel, Tata Steel were the gainers with a gain of 2.34%, 1.41%, 1.24%, 1.07%, 0.40%,0.18%, 0.18% respectively while shares of Jindal steel, Hindalco, Welcorp, Coal India, Vedanta Limited, APL Apollo, Sail, Hindustan Copper, Tata Steel were the losers with a loss of 2.54%, 1.37%, 0.68%,0.65%, 0.62%, 0.50%, 0.48%, 0.25% respectively.

Energy Index has a loss of 0.31% with shares of Reliance Infra, Reliance, Powergrid, Gail, NTPC, BPCL, Tata Power lose by 3.45%, 1.40%, 1.12%,0.89%, 0.46%, 0.20%, 0.15% respectively while shares of IOC, ONGC, Hindustan Petroleum the gainers with a gain of 1.52%, 1.40%, 0.05% respectively.

IT Index settled as the top loser of today’s trading session which has recorded a loss of 0.68%. Shares of Mindtree, Tata Elaxi, OFSS, NIIT Tech, TCS were in the gainer side with a gain of 1.71%, 1.17%, 0.83%, 0.73%, 0.32% respectively whereas shares Infibeam, Tech Mahindra, HCL Tech, Wipro, Infosys were in the loser side with a loss of 3.68%, 2.10%, 1.57%, 1.21%, 1.01% respectively.
