AFTER TWO DAYS OF LOSING STREAK, NIFTY FIFTY WITNESSED A GAIN OF 0.83% IN TODAY’S TRADING SESSION.

Nifty fifty ended the day at 11,796.45, up 96.80 points, or 0.83%. Market ended with positive note because of positive global cues along with stability in crude oil Prices. It touched a high of 11,814.40 and low of 11,651.00.Among NSE’s Nifty Fifty, 35 shares were in Advance and 15 shares were in Decline. The Market Breadth was positive. All the sectorial Indexes were in the gainer side. Energy, Metal, Realty, Bank, Auto, Pharma, FMCG, Media, IT Indexes were having a gain of 1.97%,1.74%, 0.94%, 0.80%, 0.59%,0.57%, 0.30%, 0.26%, 0.17% respectively.

Energy Index emerged as the top gainer of today’s trading session which recorded a gain of 1.97%. Shares of BPCL, Tata Power, Reliance, Hindustan Petroleum, NTPC, IOC, Powergrid, Gail, ONGC were the gainers with a gain of 3.03%,2.77%,2.61%, 2.25%,1.95%, 1.61%, 1.23%, 0.90%, 0.48% respectively while Reliance Infra was the only loser with a loss of 8.14%.

Metal Index has an upward momentum during the trading session which registered a gain of 1.74%. Shares of JSW Steel, Jindal steel, Sail, Tata Steel, APL Apollo, Hindalco, Hindustan Zinc, Vedanta Limited, NMDC, Coal India, Hindustan Copper, Moil were the gainers with a gain of 3.18%,2.35%, 2.14%, 2.03%, 2.01%, 1.97%, 1.29%, 1.04%, 0.96%, 0.53%, 0.26%, 0.10%, 0.03% respectively while shares of Welcorp, Jindal stainless limited were the losers with a loss of 1.25%,0.90%.

Realty Index has gained 0.94% with shares of Oberoi Realty, Sun Teck, Godrej Properties, DLF, Sobha were in the gainer side with a gain of 4.10%,2.46%,2.06%, 0.43%, 0.42% respectively while shares of Mahindra Lifespace,Brigade, Prestige, Phoenix Ltd,Indiabulls real-estate were in the loser side with a loss of 3.17%,1.95%, 1.40%, 0.50%, 0.04% respectively.

Bank Index registered a gain of 0.80% in today’s trading session. Stocks like Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, Federal Bank, SBI, Kotak Bank, ICICI Bank, RBL Bank, PNB,HDFC Bank were in the gainer side with a gain of 2.26%,1.27%, 1.02%, 1.01%, 0.85%,0.83%, 0.64%, 0.39%, 0.17% respectively while shares of Yes Bank, IndusInd Bank were the losers with a loss of 2.05%,0.67% respectively.

Auto Index has witnessed a gain of 0.59% with shares of Exide Industries Limited, Amara raja Batteries Limited, MRF, Mahindra & Mahindra, Bajaj Auto, Maruti, Tata Motors, Apollo tyre, Bosch Ltd, Ashok Leyland, Eicher Motors gained by 2.28%,2.16%, 1.30%, 1.07%, 0.96%, 0.76%,0.66%,0.48%, 0.36%, 0.23%,0.16% respectively while shares of TVS Motors, Mother Son Sumi system,Bharat Forg, Hero Moto corp. were the loser, lose by 2.68%,1.20%,0.29%, 0.06% respectively.

Pharma Index ended the session at 7,947.20,up by 0.57%. Shares of Lupin, Auro pharma, Divi’s Lab, Dr. Reddy, Cadila healthcare, Sun Pharma, Cipla were the gainers with a gain of 2.84%, 2.12%, 1.32%, 0.98%, 0.85%, 0.25%, 0.03% respectively while shares of PEL, Biocon, Glenmark were the losers in this Index with a loss of 2.99%, 1.52%, 0.77% respectively.

FMCG Index has an upward motion during the trading session with a gain of 0.30%. Shares of Emami Ltd, Godrej Industries Limited, Britannia, Jubilant Food works Limited, PGHH, ITC, Colgate Palmolive, Dabur, Marico, USL, Godrej Products were the gainers with a gain of 9.07%,1.10%,0.94%, 0.71%, 0.64%, 0.51%, 0.31%, 0.18%, 0.18%, 0.12%, 0.12% respectively whereas shares of UBL,GSK Cons, HUL,Tata Global were the losers with a loss of 1.83%,1.13%,0.55%, 0.44% respectively.

Media Index was in the positive territory which registered a gain of 0.26%. Shares of Zee Media, PVR, DB Corp,TV Today, Jagran, Sun TV, Zee Limited, Navneet Education Limited were the gainers with a gain of 2.50%,1.78%, 1.45%, 0.81%, 0.81%, 0.40%, 0.13%, 0.05% respectively while shares of Eros Media, Hathway, Network18, Dish TV, Inox Leisure, TV 18 Broadcast, DEN were the losers with a loss of 4.95%, 3.46%, 1.84%, 0.74%, 0.67%, 0.21%, 0.09% respectively.

IT Index gained 0.17% with shares of OFSS, Infibeam, NIIT Tech, Tata Elaxi, Wipro gained by 3.17%, 3.15%, 1.39%, 0.63%, 0.46% respectively while shares of Mindtree , TCS, Tech Mahindra, HCL Tech, Infosys were the losers ,lose by 1.26%, 0.55%, 0.51%, 0.06%, 0.01% respectively.
