NIFTY DECLINED 24.45 POINTS or 0.21% TO 11,699.65.

Nifty fifty closed at 11,699.65, recorded a loss of 0.21%. Market settled with negative note due to weak global cues, geopolitical concerns, rise in crude oil prices . It touched high of 11,754.50 and low of 11,670.20.On NSE nifty Fifty, 22 shares rose,27 shares fall and 1 share unchanged. Among sectorial Indexes, FMCG Index was the gainer with a gain of 0.14% whereas IT, Bank, Pharma, Auto, Media, Realty, Energy, Metal Indexes were the losers with a loss of 0.01%,0.09%, 0.12%, 0.46%,0.47%, 0.97%,1.06%, 1.29% respectively.

FMCG Index was the only gainer of today’s trading session which registered a gain of 0.14%. Shares of Godrej Industries Limited,USL,ITC,Colgate Palmolive, Jubilant Foodworks Limited, UBL, Godrej Products, HUL, Marico were the gainers with a gain of 1.53%,1.115, 0.64%, 0.63%, 0.57%, 0.54%, 0.46%, 0.18%, 0.01% respectively while shares of Emmai Ltd, Britannia,GSK Cons, Tata Global, PGHH, Dabur were the losers with a loss of 6.65%,1.79%, 0.70%, 0.65%,0.33%, 0.28% respectively.

IT Index recorded a loss of 0.01% which was closed at 16,187.40.Stocks like NIIT Tech, TCS, OFSS, HCL Tech were in the positive zone with a gain of 1.23%, 1.21%, 0.48%, 0.10% subsequently while stocks like Infibeam, Tech Mahindra, Tata Elaxi, Infosys, Wipro, Mind tree were in the negative zone with a gain of 1.88%,1.82%,1.13%,0.69%, 0.58%, 0.57% respectively .

Bank Index witnessed a loss of 0.09% in today’s trading session .Shares of YES Bank,RBL Bank,SBI,IndusInd Bank,HDFC Bank, Bank of Baroda were in the gainer side with a gain of 1.64%,1.12%, 1.06%, 0.71%, 0.28%, 0.04% respectively while shares of Kotak Bank, Axis Bank,PNB,ICICI Bank,IDFC First Bank were the losers with a loss of 1.12%,1.10%, 0.26%,0.15%,0.12% respectively .

Pharma Index was in the negative Territory which registered a loss of 0.12%. Shares of PEL, Lupin, Divi’s Lab, Sun Pharma were the gainers with a gain of 2.80%,2.71%, 2.02%, 0.10% respectively while shares of Glenmark, Cadila healthcare, Auro Pharma,Dr. Reddy, Biocon, Cipla were the losers with a loss of 7.79%,4.11%, 3.03%, 1.78%, 0.38%, 0.28% respectively.

Auto Index has a downward motion during the trading session which recorded a loss of 0.46%. Shares of Mahindra & Mahindra,Apollo tyres,Maruti were in the positive territory with a gain of 1.47%,0.81%,0.60% respectively while shares of Mother Son Sumi system, Eicher Motors, Bajaj Auto, Hero Moto Corp,Exide Industries Limited,Amarar Raja Batteries Limited,Bharat Forg, TVS Motors,Ashok Leyland,MRF,Bosch Ltd were in the negative territory with a loss of 4.31%,3.27%, 2.14%, 1.34%, 1.24%, 1.07%, 0.97%,0.93%, 0.75%, 0.50%, 0.31% respectively.

Media Index ended the trading session at 2,038.05,recorded a loss of 0.47%. Shares of Zee Media,Hathway,Inox Leisure, TV Today,DB Corp,Network18 were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 5.75%,4.46%, 4.42%, 3.79%, 0.85%, 0.74% while shares of TV18 Broadcast, Eros Media, Dish TV,Zee Limited, Sun TV,DEN,PVR,Navneet Education Limited, Jagran were the losers with a loss of 5.00%, 4.93%, 2.91%, 2.07%, 0.92%, 0.83%, 0.23%, 0.19%, 0.14% respectively.

Realty Index closed at 271.50,registered a loss of 0.97% which was earlier opened at 274.70.Shares of Mahindra Life space, Brigade, Indiabulls Realesate, Godrej Properties were the gainers with a gain of 1.17%,1.02%, 0.84%, 0.09% respectively whereas shares of Sun Teck, Prestige, Oberoi Realty, DLF, Phoenix Ltd, Sobha were the losers with a loss of 3.39%,2.51%, 2.41%, 1.13%, 0.50%, 0.37% respectively.

Energy Index has lose 1.06% with shares of ONGC, Reliance Infra, Gail¸ Reliance, IOC,Hindustan Petroleum,Powergrid,Tata Power lose by 3.01%, 2.61%, 1.59%, 1.38%, 1.20%, 1.06%, 0.10%, 0.08% respectively while shares of NTPC,BPCL were the gainers with a gain of 0.85%,0.26% respectively.

Metal Index was the top loser of today’s trading session with a loss of 1.29%. Shares of Jindal steel,JSW Steel, Tata Steel, Jindal stainless limited, Vedanta Limited,Sail,NMDC,Hindustan Zinc were the top losers, lose by 4.40%,3.39%, 2.36%, 2.02%, 1.94%, 1.90%, 1.53%,1.28% respectively while shares of Coal India, Hindalco were the gainers with a gain of 0.73%,0.23% respectively.
