NIFTY SETTLED AT 11,724.10, DOWN 108 POINTS OR 0.91 PER CENT.

Nifty Fifty has witnessed a loss of 0.91% to close at 11,724.10 which was opened at 11,724.10 .It touched an intraday high of 11,827.95 and low of 11,724.10.Among the 50 stocks in Nifty Index,10 shares were in advance,39 shares were in decline while 1 share was unchanged. Market ended with negative notes after escalating tensions between US-Iran and RBI Government comments. All the sectorial Indexes were in the loser side. Metal, Realty, Bank, FMCG, IT, Energy, Auto, Media, Pharma Indexes have a loss of 0.34%,0.47%, 0.50%,0.77%,0.78%, 0.81%, 1.22%,1.41%, 1.46%, subsequently.

Metal Index opened at 2,932.70 and closed at 2,930.20,recording a loss of 0.34%. Shares of Jindal stainless steel, Welcorp, NMDC, Hindalco ,National Aluminium, Sail, Moil, Vedanta Limited, Hindustan Copper were the gainers with a gain of 6.87%,2.26%, 2.03%, 1.98%,1.34%, 0.60%, 0.50%, 0.38%, 0.26% subsequently while shares of Jindal steel, Coal India, Hindustan Zinc, APL Apollo, Tata Steel, JSW Steel were the losers with a loss of 1.81%,1.71%,1.60%,0.89%,0.54% respectively.

Realty Index started the trading session at 275.10 and ended the trading session at 274.15, reporting a loss of 0.47%. Stocks like Oberoi Realty, Brigade, Mahindra Lifespace, Prestige were in the gainer side with a gain of 5.04%,2.62%,2.02%, 0.76% respectively while stocks like Sobha, Godrej Properties, DLF, Sun Teck, Indiabulls realestate, Phoenix Ltd were in the loser side with a loss of 7.65%,2.85%, 2.48%, 1.66%, 0.35%, 0.12% respectively.

Bank Index has witnessed a loss of 0.50% with shares of Yes Bank, RBL Bank, Kotak Bank, Federal Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Bank of Baroda, PNB, Axis Bank lose by 4.50%,1.83%,1.48%,1.20%,0.55%, 0.31%, 0.25%, 0.19%, 0.18% subsequently whereas shares of SBI,IDFC First Bank, IndusInd Bank were the gainers with a gain of 1.14%,0.71%, 0.65% respectively.

FMCG Index has a decent loss of 0.77% which was opened at 29,642.80 and closed at 29,423.85.Shares of Godrej Industries Limited, Tata Global, USL, Dabur, Marico, Godrej Products, PGHH,UBL were the gainers with a gain of 2.93%,2.17%,2.13%, 1.08%, 0.54%, 0.50%, 0.50%,0.41%, 0.20% while shares of Emami Ltd, GSK Cons, HUL, Jubilant food works Limited, ITC, Colgate Palmolive, Britannia were the losers with a loss of 6.01%,2.07%, 2.06%, 2.05%, 0.99%,094%, 0.05% respectively.

IT Index has a downward tendency which has recorded a loss of 0.78%. shares of Tech Mahindra, Tata Elaxi were the gainers with a gain of 1.44%,0.64% respectively while shares of OFSS, Infibeam, TCS, HCL Tech, Mindtree, Infosys, Wipro, NIIT Tech were the losers with a loss of 4.87%,3.92%,1.14%, 0.77%, 0.62%, 0.42%, 0.33%, 0.02% subsequently.

Energy Index was in the negative territory during session which was opened at 16,019.65 and closed at 15,951.40.Stocks like Tata Power, NTPC were the gainers with a gain of 1.08%, 0.11% respectively while stocks like Reliance Infra, IOC, BPCL, Reliance, Powergrid, ONGC, Hindustan Petroleum, Gail were the losers with a loss of 2.87%,1.91%, 1.40%, 1.39%, 0.70%, 0.67%, 0.26%, 0.05% respectively.

Auto Index started the trading session at 7,921.80 and ended the trading session at 7,868.25.Shares of Apollo Tyre,Bosch Ltd were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 1.13%,0.33% respectively while shares of Maruti, Hero Moto corp,TVS Motors, Exide Industries Limited,Ashok Leyland,Mother son Sumi System,Bajaj Auto were in the negative territory with a loss of 2.90%,1.98%, 1.92%, 1.44%, 1.37%, 1.06%,0.56%, respectively .

Media Index has a downward motion which was opened at 2,067.90 and closed at 2,047.70 .Shares of DEN,Hathway,TV Today, Jagran were the gainers of this Index with a gain of 9.47%,6.03%, 3.08%,0.62% whereas shares of Eros Media, Sun TV, Dish TV,PVR,Zee Limited, Inox Leisure,TV18 Broadcast,Network18 were the losers with a loss of 4.89%,3.84%, 3.34%,2.27%, 1.59%, 1.11%, 0.40%, 0.37% respectively.

Pharma Index was the top loser of today’s trading session which has recorded a loss of 1.46%. Shares of Auro Pharma,Divi’s Lab,Glenmark,Cadila Healthcare, Sun Pharma,Biocon,PEL,Dr.Reddy,Cipla,Lupin were the losers with a loss of 3.85%,3.83%,3.68%,3.11%,1.66%,1.26%,0.63%,0.57%, 0.20%, 0.16% respectively.
