NIFTY FIFTY CLOSED WITH FLAT NOTES

Nifty fifty ended the trading session on a flat note which closed at 11,691.45. Nifty Fifty ended with flat notes amid sell-off in stocks that have high debt and ahead of Federal Reserve's interest rate decision due tonight. Sectorial Indexes like Realty, Metal, Media, Bank, FMCG Indexes were in the gainer side with a gain of 1.10%,0.40%, 0.36%, 0.04%, 0.02% respectively while Pharma, Auro, IT, Energy Indexes were in the loser side with a loss of 1.60%,1.11%,0.24%, 0.11% respectively.

Realty Index gained the most in today’s trading session which recorded a gain of 1.10%. Stocks like Oberoi realty, Phoenix Ltd, Godrej Properties, DLF, Mahindra Lifespace, Prestige ,Brigade were the gainers with a gain of 2.81%,2.55%, 1.74%, 1.61%, 0.85%, 0.36%, 0.31% respectively while shares of India bulls realestate, Sun Teck, Sobha were the losers with a loss of 1.91%,1.41%, 0.03% respectively.

Metal Index has an upward momentum during the trading session which recorded a gain of 0.40% . Shares of Tata Steel, NMDC, Vedanta Limited, Moil, Hindustan Zinc, Sail were in the gainer side with a gain of 5.40%,2.56%, 0.45%, 0.17%, 0.15%,0.10%, 0.03% respectively while shares of Jindal steel, Hindustan copper, APL Apollo, Coal India, JSW Steel, National Aluminium, Jindal stainless Limited, Welcorp were the losers with a loss of 3.79%,3.64%, 1.81%, 1.40%, 0.59%, 0.59%, 0.52%, 0.47%, 0.15% respectively .

Media Index ended the trading session at 2,058.55, recorded a gain of 0.36%. Shares of Zee Limited,Network18,Jagran,Dish TV,DB Corp were the gainers with a gain of 5.14%,1.66%, 0.62%, 0.55%, 0.08% respectively whereas shares of TV 18 Broadcast, Zee Media, Eros Media, TV Today, Navneet Education Limited, Sun TV, PVR, Hathway, DEN, Inox Leisure were the losers with a loss of 7.41%,6.30%, 4.97%, 4.31%, 3.49%, 0.76%, 0.45%, 0.43%, 0.38%, 0.23% respectively.

Bank Index recorded a gain of 0.04% which closed at 30,362.10.Shares of Kotak Bank, HDFC Bank were having positive notes with a gain of 2.75%,0.75% respectively while shares of Yes Bank, IndusInd Bank, IDFC First Bank, Federal Bank, RBL Bank, Bank of Baroda, SBI were having negative notes with a loss of 4.89%,2.70%, 0.85%, 0.67%, 0.51%, 0.43%, 0.40% respectively.

FMCG Index has gained 0.02% with shares of PGHH, ITC, UBL, Colgate Palmolive, HUL, GSK Cons gained by 1.70%,0.93%, 0.58%, 0.39%, 0.25%, 0.13% respectively whereas shares of USL, Dabur, Godrej Industries Limited, Godrej Products, Ememi Ltd, Tata Global, Jubilant Food Works Limited, Marico, Britannia were the losers in this Index with a loss of 2.67%,1.69%, 1.68%, 1.55%, 0.96%, 0.89%, 0.83%, 0.38%, 0.08% respectively.

Energy Index has witnessed a loss of 0.11% with shares of Reliance Infra, IOC, BPCL, Hindustan Petroleum, Tata Power, Gail lose by 6.46%,2.09%, 1.95%, 1.89%, 1.24%, 0.15% respectively whereas shares of NTPC, Powergrid, ONGC, Reliance were the gainers in this Index with a gain 1.85%,1.11%, 0.66%, 0.08% respectively.

IT Index has a downward momentum during the trading session which recorded a loss of 0.24%. Shares of Infibeam, TCS,Infosys were in the gainer side with a gain of 0.92%,0.46%, 0.24% respectively while shares of Tata Elaxi, Wipro, OFSS, NIIT Tech, Tech Mahindra, HCL Tech, Mindtree were in the loser side with a loss of 2.64%,1.58%, 1.56%, 1.34%, 0.86%, 0.56%, 0.24% respectively.

Auto Index closed at 7,772.20 , recorded a loss of 1.11%. Shares of Mother son Sumi system, Eicher Motors were the gainers with a gain of 0.76%,0.09% respectively while shares of Amara raja Batteries Limited, TVS Motors, Hero Motocorp,Tata Motors, Exide Industries Limited, Apollo tyre, Mahindra & Mahindra, Bajaj Auto,Bharat forg were the top losers with a loss of 3.19%,2.73%, 2.17%, 2.08%, 1.77%, 1.50%, 1.26%, 1.14%, 1.13%, respectively.

Pharma Index was the top loser of today’s trading session which recorded a loss of 1.60%. Shares of Biocon, Cadila healthcare were the gainers with a gain of 2.94%,1.65% respectively while shares of PEL, Glenmark, Cipla, Auro Pharma, Dr. Reddy, Sun Pharma, Lupin, Divi’s Lab were the top losers with a loss of 6.74%,3.45%,2.61%, 1.94%, 1.63%, 0.81%, 0.79%, 0.19% respectively.
