NIFTY FIFTY CLIMBED 19.35 POINTS, OR 0.17 PER CENT, TO 11,691.5.

Nifty Fifty closed at 11,691.50, recorded a gain of 0.17%. Nifty Fifty closed with small gains due to Softening crude oil prices and rising rupee . Sectorial Indexes like Energy, IT,Metal, Bank, Realty Indexes were in the gainer side with a gain of 0.72%, 0.58%, 0.50%, 0.26%, 0.07% respectively while Pharma, Auto, FMCG, Media Indexes were in the loser side with a loss of 0.73%, 0.47%, 0.41%, 0.12% respectively.

Energy Index emerged as the top gainer of today’s trading session which recorded a gain of 0.72%. Shares of Hindustan Petroleum, BPCL, Powergrid, IOC, ONGC, Gail were the top gainers with a gain of 2.34%,2.08%, 1.88%, 1.48%, 1.28%, 0.67% respectively while Shares of Reliance Infra, Tata Power, Reliance were the losers in this Index with a loss of 20.41%,0.47%, 0.30% respectively.

IT Index has gained 0.58% with shares of Infosys, OFSS, HCL Tech, NIIT Tech, Tech Mahindra, Tata Elaxi, Mindtree, TCS gained by 1.47%,1.38%, 1.36%,0.74%, 0.61%,0.42%, 0.39%, 0.19% respectively while shares of Infibeam, Wipro were the losers in this Index with a loss of 1.13%,0.23% respectively.

Metal Index has an upward motion during the trading session which recorded a gain of 0.50%. Shares of Vedanta Limited, Coal India, APL Apollo, JSW Steel, Moil, Sail, NMDC, Tata Steel were in the positive zone with a gain of 2.50%, 2.00%, 1.92%, 1.46%, 0.33%, 0.21%, 0.19%, 0.19% respectively while shares of Jindal stainless limited,Jindal steel,Hindalco,National Aluminium, Hindustan Zinc, Hindustan Copper, Welcorp were in the negative Zone with a loss of 2.72%,2.03%, 1.70%, 1.24%, 1.02%, 0.75%, 0.14% respectively.

Bank Index has recorded a gain of 0.26% which closed at 30,351.00.Shares of ICICI Bank, RBL Bank, SBI, IndusInd Bank, Kotak Bank, Bank of Baroda were the gainers with a gain of 1.98%,0.92%,0.87%,0.45%, 0.22%, 0.17% respectively while shares of Yes Bank, Federal Bank, IDFC Bank, PNB, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank were the losers with a loss of 5.94%,0.99%, 0.97%, 0.86%,0.33%, 0.17% respectively.

Realty Index closed at 267.30,recorded a gain of 0.07%. Shares of Oberoi Realty, DLF, Godrej Properties were the gainers with a gain of 1.30%,0.75%, 0.40% respectively while shares of Brigade, Mahindra Lifespace, Phoenix Ltd, Sun Teck, India bulls realestate, Sobha, Prestige were the losers with a loss of 2.42%,1.87%, 0.93%, 0.77%, 0.67%, 0.55%, 0.08% respectively.

Media Index has registered a loss of 0.12% to close at 2,051.20 which was earlier opened at 2,053.90.Stocks like Inox Leisure, PVR, Zee Limited, Sun TV, Navneet Education Limited were the gainers with a gain of 1.85%,1.57%,1.11%,0.97%,0.18% respectively whereas stocks like Dish TV, Eros Media, Zee Media,DEN,Hathway,Jagran,TV18 Broadcast, DB Corp, TV Today,Network18 were the losers with a loss of 6.09%,4.90%,4.84%,2.73%,2.70%,2.10%,1.15%,0.49%,0.19%,0.18% respectively.

FMCG Index was in the negative territory with a loss of 0.41% which closed at 29,580.75.Shares of Godrej Products, Tata Global, ITC, UBL were the gainers with a gain of 2.08%,1.14%,0.22%, 0.02% respectively while shares of Dabur, Emami Ltd, PGHH, Colgate Palmolive, Britannia, USL, Godrej Industries Limited, HUL, Jubilant Food works Limited, Marico, GSK Cons were the losers with a loss of 3.36%,2.84%, 2.38%, 1.36%, 1.18%, 0.97%, 0.71%, 0.25%, 0.23%,,0.14%,0.07% respectively.

Auto Index has lose 0.47% with shares of Apollo tyre, Maruti, Bharat Forg, TVS Motors¸ Bosch Ltd, Exide Industries Limited, Eicher Motors, Amara raja Batteries Limited, MRF, Tata Motors lose by 2.85%,1.47%,0.88%,0.85%,0.41%, 0.35%,0.14%, 0.10%, 0.09%, 0.03% respectively while shares of Bajaj Auto, Mother Son Sumi System, Hero Moto Corp, Ashok Leyland, Mahindra & Mahindra were the gainers with a gain of 1.30%,1.14%, 0.90%, 0.60%, 0.47% respectively.

Pharma Index was the top loser of today’s trading session which recorded a loss of 0.73%. shares of Glenmark, Dr. Reddy, Cipla,Divi’s Ltd were the gainers with a gain of 1.22%,1.17%, 0.80%, 0.48% respectively while shares of PEL, Cadila healthcare, Sun Pharma, Biocon, Lupin, Auro Pharma were the losers with a loss of 6.85%,4.08%, 1.53%, 1.08%, 0.14%, 0.05% respectively.
