NIFTY FIFTY ENDED SHARPLY LOWER BUT MANAGED TO HOLD 11,800 LEVELS

Nifty Fifty has witnessed a loss of 0.76% which was opened at 11,910.10 and closed at 11,823.30. Market Closed with negative notes due to weak global cues along with US Federal Reserve policy meeting on June 18-19. All the sectorial Indexes were in the loser side. IT, Metal ,Energy, Pharma ,Auto Bank, FMCG, Realty, Media Indexes have a loss of 0.03%, 0.37%, 0.57%, 0.80%, 1.05%, 1.17%, 1.28%, 2.10%, 2.24% subsequently.

IT Index opened at 16,326.70 and closed at 16,268.20, recording a loss of 0.30%. Shares of Tata Elaxi, Infibeam, Wipro were the gainers with a gain of 1.66%,0.66%,0.20% subsequently while shares of NIIT Tech, HCL Tech, OFSS, Tech Mahindra, Mindtree, Infosys, TCS were the losers with a loss of 1.57%,1.54%, 1.05%, 0.82%, 0.46%, 0.41%, 0.19% respectively.

Metal Index started the trading session at 2,946.15 and ended the trading session at 2,944.90, reporting a loss of 0.37%. Stocks like NMDC, Moil, Vedanta Limited were in the gainer side with a gain of 0.71%,0.30%,0.18% respectively while stocks like Jindal Steel,Sail,APL Apollo,JSW Steel, Hindustan Copper,Hindalco,Hindustan Zinc, Tata Steel, Coal India, Jindal stainless Limited, National Aluminium were in the loser side with a loss of 3.70%,2.62%,2.50%,2.04%, 1.46%, 1.25%,1.15%, 0.71%, 0.63%, 0.37%, 0.30% respectively.

Energy Index has witnessed a loss of 0.57% with shares of Reliance Infra, NTPC, Tata Power, Hindustan Petroleum, BPCL, IOC, Reliance, Gail, ONGC lose by 4.78%,1.63%, 1.29%, 1.24%, 0.84%, 0.65%, 0.55%, 0.13%, 0.09% subsequently whereas Reliance Infra was the gainer with a gain of 0.39%.

Pharma Index has a decent loss of 0.80% which was opened at 8,138.05 and closed at 8,083.55. Shares of Glenmark, Sun Pharma, Lupin were the gainers with a gain of 0.96%,0.50%, 0.34% respectively while shares of Biocon, Auro pharma, Divi’s Lab, Cipla, Dr. Reddy, PEL, Cadila healthcare were the losers with a loss of 3.74%,3.23%,1.84%, 1.59%, 1.03%, 0.63%, 0.33% respectively.

Auto Index has a downward tendency which has recorded a loss of 1.05%. Shares of Eicher Motors, Tata Motors, Apollo Tyre, Bajaj Auto, Hero Moto corp., TVS Motors, Mother Son sumi system, Amara raja Batteries Limited were the top losers with a loss of 2.54%,2.18%, 2.02%, 1.78%, 1.56%, 1.54%, 1.40%,1.23% subsequently.

Bank Index was in the negative territory during session which was opened at 30,983.45 and closed at 30,614.35.PNB was the only gainer in this Index with a gain of 0.20% while stocks like Indus Ind Bank,Bank of Baroda,Axis Bank,Kotak Bank,RBL Bank,Yes Bank,Federal Bank were the top losers with a loss of 4.59%,2.35%, 2.30%, 2.21%, 2.15%, 2.09%, 1.03% respectively.

FMCG Index started the trading session at 30,313.95 and ended the trading session at 29,966.10.UBL was the only gainer with a gain of 0.13% while shares of Tata Global,USL,Godrej Products,Marico,Dabur,Godrej Industries Limited, Emami Ltd,Colgate Palmolive were in the negative territory with a loss of 2.99%,2.77%, 2.37%,2.33%, 2.09%, 2.01%, 1.71%,1.68% respectively.

Realty Index has a downward motion which was opened at 275.05 and closed at 270.70 .Phoenix Ltd was the only gainer with a gain of 1.04% whereas shares of India bulls realestate,DLF,Sobha,Sun Teck, Oberoi Realty,Prestige,Brigade,Godrej Properties, Mahindra Life space were the losers with a loss of 5.03%,4.41%,4.00%,2.15%,2.14%,1.71%,1.24%,0.64%,0.33% respectively.

Media Index was the top loser of today’s trading session which has recorded a loss of 2.24%. Shares of DEN, Inox Leisure, Hathway, DB corp were the gainers of this Index with a gain of 3.93%,1.03%,0.61%,0.18% respectively while shares of Dish TV, Eros Media, Zee Limited,Network18,TV today, Jagran, Sun TV, Zee Media,TV18 Broadcast were the top losers with a loss of 6.24%, 4.91%,4.50%, 4.30%, 2.67%, 1.67%, 1.27%, 1.19%, 0.92% respectively.
