NIFTY FIFTY SETTLED AT 11,922.70, UP 52.05POINTS OR 0.44 PER CENT.

Nifty Fifty has witnessed a gain of 0.44% which was closed at 11,922.70.Market traded with positive notes due to Positive cues from global market along with gains in IT and FMCG Stocks. Sectorial Indexes like IT, FMCG, Pharma, Realty, Auto, Metal Indexes were in the gainer side whereas Bank, Energy, Media Indexes were in the loser side.

IT Index has an upward momentum during the trading session which recorded a gain of 1.57%. Shares of Tech Mahindra, TCS, Infosys, HCL Tech, Mindtree, OFSS, NIIT Tech, Wipro were the gainers with a gain of 2.41%,2.17%,1.88%, 1.43%, 0.77%, 0.74%, 0.69%,0.68% subsequently while shares of Infibeam, Tata Elaxi were the losers with a loss of 5.97%,0.01% respectively.

FMCG Index recorded a gain of 1.30%. Stocks like Britannia, Jubilant Food works Limited, UBL, USL, ITC, Dabur, Marico, HUL, PGHH, Emami Ltd, GSK Cons, Godrej Products were in the gainer side with a gain of 3.47%,2.88%, 2.39%, 2.38%, 1.78%, 1.32%, 0.98%, 0.94%, 0.94%, 0.37%,0.07%, 0.07% respectively while Stocks like Tata Global,Godrej Industries Limited, Colgate Palmolive were in the loser side with a loss of 1.40%,0.44%, 0.29% respectively.

Pharma Index has gained 0.82% with shares of Cadila Healthcare, Dr.Reddy, Glenmark, Auro Pharma, Sun Pharma, Cipla, PEL, Biocon gained by 2.22%,1.95%, 1.43%, 1.39%, 1.08%, 0.88%, 0.74%,0.37% respectively while Shares of Lupin, Divi’s Lab were the losers ,lose by 0.71%,0.37% respectively.

Realty Index recorded a gain of 0.30%. Shares of Godrej Properties, Oberoi Realty, Brigade, Sobha, Phoenix Ltd were in the positive zone with a gain of 3.23%, 1.80%, 1.00%, 0.57%, 0.39% respectively while shares of Sun Teck, Prestige, India bulls realestate, DLF, Mahindra Life space were in the negative zone with a loss of 2.50%,0.99%, 0.98%,0.66%, 0.15% respectively .

Auto Index has an upward tendency during the trading session which recorded a gain of 0.30%. Shares of Mother Sonsumi System, Amara raja Batteries Limited, Apollo tyre, Ashok Leyland, Bajaj Auto, Bharat Forg, Maruti, Bosch Ltd, Eicher Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Exide Industries Limited were having positive notes with a gain of 4.02%,2.38%, 1.30%, 1.00%, 0.84%, 0.75%, 0.67%,0.46%, 0.46%, 0.12% respectively whereas shares of Tata Motors, Hero Moto Corp, TVS Motors, MRF were having negative notes with a loss of 1.56%,0.90%, 0.64%, 0.04% respectively.

Metal Index has witnessed a gain of 0.18% with shares of JSW Steel, Hindalco, Welcorp, Hindustan Zinc, Tata Steel, Vedanta Limited, APL Apollo gained by 1.71%, 1.67%, 1.44%, 1.42%, 0.96%, 0.55%, 0.04% respectively whereas shares of Hindustan Copper, Coal India, Jindal stainless limited, Moil, Jindal steel, NMDC, Sail were the losers with a loss of 2.23%, 2.22%,0.96%, 0.46%, 0.38%, 0.14% respectively.

Bank Index witnessed a loss of 0.10%. Shares of Axis Bank, SBI, RBL Bank were in the gainer side with a gain of 1.37%, 0.85%, 0.14% respectively while shares of YES Bank, PNB, Bank of Baroda, IDFC First Bank, Kotak Bank, Federal Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, IndusInd Bank were the losers with a loss of 2.43%,1.96%, 1.90%, 0.82%, 0.66%, 0.28%, 0.21%, 0.12%, 0.08% respectively.

Energy Index has a loss of 0.65%. Shares of Powergrid, Reliance, Tata Power were the gainers, gained by 1.38%,0.43%, 0.08% respectively whereas shares of Reliance Infra, BPCL, Gail, IOC, ONGC, Hindustan Petroleum, NTPC were the losers of this Index with a loss of 13.18%, 3.26%, 2.02%, 1.62%, 1.49%, 1.43%, 0.11% respectively.

Media Index has a downward momentum during the trading session which recording a loss of 1.69%. Shares of TV Today, PVR were in the gainer side with a gain of 1.21%,1.11% respectively while shares of Eros Media, DEN, Inox Leisure, Dish TV,Network18,Sun TV, Zee Media,TV18 Broadcast, Hathway, Zee Limited, Jagran, Navneet Education Limited, DB corp. Were in the loser side with a loss of 10.00%,6.54%, 5.58%, 5.31%, 2.48%, 1.97%, 1.87%, 1.83%, 1.41%, 1.26%, 0.92%, 0.72%, 0.28% respectively.
