DAILY CURRENCY MARKET 6th JUNE 2019

Rupee opened 14 paise lower at 69.40 as against dollar on Thursday, after closed at 69.26 on Tuesday. Today, Rupee closed 1 paisa lower against the dollar at 69. after the Reserve Bank of India cut its repo rate by 0.25 per cent. Foreign fund outflows and rising crude oil prices also kept pressure on the Indian Rupee. USD/INR touched intraday low of 69.19 and high of 69.45. NSE Nifty 50 ended 1.48 per cent or 177.90 points lower at 11843.75 and Sensex fell 1.38 per cent or 553.82 points to 39529.72.

The Indian currency (INR) was trading 17 paise higher at 77.79 as against Euro. The currency pair EUR/INR opened at 77.87, which was previously close at 77.96. The Currency pair GBP/INR and JPY/INR were trading at 87.94 and 0.64 respectively. The other currency pairs ZAR/INR, MYR/INR, SAR/INR and AED/INR were trading at 4.66, 16.64, 18.45 and 18.84 subsequently.

The USD/JPY was trading at 108.14. The currency pair EUR/USD was trading at 1.12. The paired currency EUR/JPY was trading at 122.02. Elsewhere, the currency pair GBP/USD was trading at 1.27. The other currencies pairs AUD/USD, NZD/USD, MYR/USD and SAR/USD were trading at 0.70, 0.66, 0.24 and 0.27 respectively.
