DAILY CURRENCY MARKET 27th JUNE 2019

Rupee opened 10 paise lower note at 69.25 as against dollar on Thursday after closed at 69.15 on Wednesday. Rupee closed 8 paise higher against the dollar at 69.07. Rupee rose against the US dollar after US Trade secretary said that the US and China were close to a trade deal, and he’s optimistic that progress can be made during weekend talks between President Donald Trump and China’s Xi Jinping. USD/INR touched intraday low of 69.05 and high of 69.32. Meanwhile, BSE Sensex settled 5.67 points, or 0.01 per cent, lower at 39586.41. The broader Nifty50 was down 6.00 points, or 0.05 per cent, to 11841.55.

The Indian currency (INR) was trading 0.006% higher at 78.57 as against Euro. The currency pair EUR/INR opened at 78.69 which was previously close at 78.57. The Currency pair GBP/INR and JPY/INR were trading at 87.75 and 0.64 respectively. The other currency pairs ZAR/INR, MYR/INR, SAR/INR and AED/INR were trading at 4.88, 16.66, 18.40 and 18.79 subsequently.

The USD/JPY was trading at 107.87. The currency pair EUR/USD was trading at 1.13. The paired currency EUR/JPY was trading at 122.57 Elsewhere, the currency pair GBP/USD was trading at 1.27. The other currencies pairs AUD/USD, NZD/USD, MYR/USD and SAR/USD were trading at 0.70, 0.67, 0.24 and 0.27 respectively.
