DAILY CURRENCY MARKET 26th JUNE 2019

Rupee opened 4 paise lower note at 69.39 as against dollar on Wednesday after closed at 69.35 on Tuesday. Rupee closed 19 paise higher against the dollar at 69.15. USD/INR touched intraday low of 69.10 and high of 69.48. Meanwhile, Sensex settled 157.14 points, or 0.40 %, higher at 39592.08 while Nifty50 index also crossed the 11,800-mark and closed the day at 11847.55, up 51.10 points, or 0.43%.

The Indian currency (INR) was trading 39 paise higher at 78.57 as against Euro. The currency pair EUR/INR opened at 78.89 which was previously close at 78.97. The Currency pair GBP/INR and JPY/INR were trading at 87.71 and 0.64 respectively. The other currency pairs ZAR/INR, MYR/INR, SAR/INR and AED/INR were trading at 4.84, 16.71, 18.45 and 18.84 subsequently.

The USD/JPY was trading at 107.66. The currency pair EUR/USD was trading at 1.13. The paired currency EUR/JPY was trading at 122.28. Elsewhere, the currency pair GBP/USD was trading at 1.27. The other currencies pairs AUD/USD, NZD/USD, MYR/USD and SAR/USD were trading at 0.70, 0.67, 0.24 and 0.27 respectively.
