DAILY CURRENCY MARKET 25th JUNE 2019

Rupee opened 4 paise higher note at 69.31 as against dollar on Tuesday after closed at 69.355 on Monday. Rupee closed 0.007% higher against the dollar at 69.35 on back of broad weakness in the dollar against its major peers. In the last few sessions the dollar has been weighed down on expectation that the Federal Reserve in the near future is expected to cut rates. USD/INR touched intraday low of 69.22 and high of 69.39. Meanwhile, Sensex was up 311.98 points at 39434.94, while Nifty was up 96.80 points 11796.50.

The Indian currency (INR) was trading 6 paise higher at 78.97 as against Euro. The currency pair EUR/INR opened at 79.07 which was previously close at 79.03. The Currency pair GBP/INR and JPY/INR were trading at 88.38 and 0.64 respectively. The other currency pairs ZAR/INR, MYR/INR, SAR/INR and AED/INR were trading at 4.85, 16.76, 18.49 and 18.88 subsequently.

The USD/JPY was trading at 107.08. The currency pair EUR/USD was trading at 1.13. The paired currency EUR/JPY was trading at 121.94. Elsewhere, the currency pair GBP/USD was trading at 1.27. The other currencies pairs AUD/USD, NZD/USD, MYR/USD and SAR/USD were trading at 0.70, 0.66, 0.24 and 0.27 respectively.
