DAILY CURRENCY MARKET 24 JUNE 2019

Rupee opened 3 paise lower note at 69.60 as against dollar on Monday after closed at 69.57 on Friday. Rupee closed 21 paisa higher against the dollar at 69.35 on renewed selling of US dollars by bankers and exporters. USD/INR touched intraday low of 69.32 and high of 69.61. Meanwhile, BSE Sensex settled 71.53 points, or 0.18 per cent, lower at 39122.96. The broader Nifty50 dipped 24.25 points, or 0.21 per cent, to 11699.65

The Indian currency (INR) was trading 32 paise lower at 79.03 as against Euro. The currency pair EUR/INR opened at 79.19 which was previously close at 78.70. The Currency pair GBP/INR and JPY/INR were trading at 88.46 and 0.64 respectively. The other currency pairs ZAR/INR, MYR/INR, SAR/INR and AED/INR were trading at 4.84, 16.76, 18.51 and 18.89 subsequently.

The USD/JPY was trading at 107.28. The currency pair EUR/USD was trading at 1.13. The paired currency EUR/JPY was trading at 122.27. Elsewhere, the currency pair GBP/USD was trading at 1.27. The other currencies pairs AUD/USD, NZD/USD, MYR/USD and SAR/USD were trading at 0.70, 0.66, 0.24 and 0.27 respectively.
