DAILY CURRENCY MARKET 20 JUNE 2019

Rupee opened 21 paise higher note at 69.47 as against dollar on Thursday after closed at 69.68 on Wednesday. Rupee closed 25 paisa higher against the dollar at 69.43. Dollar index weakened after the US Federal Reserve signaled possible interest rate cuts later this year. USD/INR touched intraday low of 69.43 and high of 69.67. Meanwhile, NSE Nifty 50 ended 1.20% or 140.30 points higher at 11831.75 while Sensex rose 1.25 % or 488.89 points to 39601.63.

The Indian currency (INR) was trading 43 paise lower at 78.55 as against Euro. The currency pair EUR/INR opened at 78.49, which was previously close at 78.12. The Currency pair GBP/INR and JPY/INR were trading at 88.19 and 0.64 respectively. The other currency pairs ZAR/INR, MYR/INR, SAR//INR and AED/INR were trading at 4.87, 16.73, 18.50 and 18.89 subsequently.

The USD/JPY was trading at 107.65. The currency pair EUR/USD was trading at 1.13. The paired currency EUR/JPY was trading at 121.67. Elsewhere, the currency pair GBP/USD was trading at 1.27. The other currencies pairs AUD/USD, NZD/USD, MYR/USD and SAR/USD were trading at 0.69, 0.66, 0.24 and 0.27 respectively.
