DAILY CURRENCY MARKET 11th JUNE 2019

Rupee opened 21 paise higher at 69.44 as against dollar on Tuesday, after closed at 69.65 on Monday. Rupee closed 21 paisa higher against the dollar at 69.44 on account of some selling in American currency by banks and exporters. USD/INR touched intraday low of 69.34 and high of 69.51. Meanwhile, NSE Nifty 50 ended 0.36% per cent or 42.90 points higher at 11965.60 and Sensex rose 0.42 % or 165.94 points to 39950.46.

The Indian currency (INR) was trading 15 paise higher at 78.59 as against Euro. The currency pair EUR/INR opened at 78.81, which was previously close at 78.74. The Currency pair GBP/INR and JPY/INR were trading at 88.19 and 0.63 respectively. The other currency pairs ZAR/INR, MYR/INR, SAR/INR and AED/INR were trading at 4.72, 16.69, 18.54 and 18.93 subsequently.

The USD/JPY was trading at 108.72. The currency pair EUR/USD was trading at 1.13. The paired currency EUR/JPY was trading at 123.03. Elsewhere, the currency pair GBP/USD was trading at 1.27. The other currencies pairs AUD/USD, NZD/USD, MYR/USD and SAR/USD were trading at 0.70, 0.66, 0.24 and 0.27 respectively.
