DAILY CURRENCY MARKET 10th JUNE 2019

Rupee opened 1 paise higher at 69.45 as against dollar on Monday, after closed at 69.46 on Friday. Rupee closed 19 paisa lower against the dollar at 69.65. USD/INR touched intraday low of 69.38 and high of 69.67. Indian rupee was unable to hold the morning gains amid higher crude oil prices and stronger dollar against Asian currencies. Meanwhile, NSE Nifty 50 ended 0.44 per cent or 52.05 points higher at 11922.70 and Sensex rose 0.43 per cent or 168.62 points to 39784.52.

The Indian currency (INR) was trading 45 paise lower at 78.74 as against Euro. The currency pair EUR/INR opened at 78.57, which was previously close at 78.29. The Currency pair GBP/INR and JPY/INR were trading at 88.27 and 0.64 respectively. The other currency pairs ZAR/INR, MYR/INR, SAR/INR and AED/INR were trading at 4.68, 16.65, 18.53 and 18.93 subsequently.

The USD/JPY was trading at 108.51. The currency pair EUR/USD was trading at 1.13. The paired currency EUR/JPY was trading at 122.72. Elsewhere, the currency pair GBP/USD was trading at 1.27. The other currencies pairs AUD/USD, NZD/USD, MYR/USD and SAR/USD were trading at 0.70, 0.66, 0.24 and 0.27 respectively.
