CRUDE OIL FUTURES TRADE HIGHER ON POSITIVE DEMAND

At the MCX, Crude oil futures for Jun 2019 contract was trading at Rs. 3755.00 per barrel, up by 0.62 %, after opening at Rs. 3755.00 per barrel, against a previous close of Rs. 3732.00 per barrel. It touched an intra-day low of Rs. 3742.00 per barrel and high of Rs. 3781.00 per barrel.

Oil prices climbed on Wednesday, extending sharp gains from the previous session on rekindled hopes for a U.S.-China trade deal and on continued tensions in the Middle East after tanker attacks there last week.

Gold futures were trading up in the evening trading session on today as participants created fresh positions, tracking a firm trend in the domestic markets.

MCXCOMDEX opened with negative note at 3593.45 and traded up by 0.16% at 3599.76. Commodities like Nickel, Crude oil, Aluminium, Natural Gas, Cotton, Gold were stood as top gainers, gained by 0.70%, 0.62%, 0.21%, 0.06%, 0.05% respectively. On the other hand, Mentha oil, Lead, Zinc, CPO, Copper, Silver futures were stood as top losers, lose by 2.12%, 0.74%, 0.55%, 0.23%, 0.17%, 0.11% respectively.

NSE Nifty 50 ended 0.05 points lower at 11691.45 while Sensex rose 0.17 % or 66.40 points to 39112.74.
