NIFTY FIFTY SAW A BIGGEST ONE DAY FALL

Nifty Fifty witnessed a loss of 2.14% which was opened at 11,770.40 and closed at 11,558.60.It Touched intraday high of 11,771.90 and low of 11,523.30.Among NSE’s Nifty fifty, 5 shares were in advance while 45 shares were in decline. Market ended with negative notes as the government proposed imposing an additional surcharge on FPIs and Punjab National Bank detected another alleged fraud. All the sectorial indexes were in loser side. IT, FMCG, Pharma, Metal, Bank, Energy, Media, Auto, Realty Indexes lose by 1.12%, 1.26%, 1.57%, 2.11%, 2.77%, 2.77%, 3.26%,3.26%, 3.49% respectively.

IT Index started the trading session at 15,410.85 and ended the trading session at 15,376.00, reporting a loss of 1.12%. Shares of HCL Tech,TCS were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 1.83%, 0.37% respectively while stocks like Mindtree,Infibeam, OFSS, Wipro, Tata Elaxi, NIIT Tech, Infosys,Tech Mahindra were in the loser side with a loss of 10.65%, 3.90%, 1.72%, 1.64%, 1.22%, 0.63%, 0.11%, 0.01% respectively .

FMCG Index has witnessed a loss of 1.26% with shares of Godrej Products, Emami Ltd,Marico, HUL,GSK Cons, Britannia,Dabur,ITC,Tata Global,Colgate Palmolive, USL, UBL, PGHH lose by 2.81%, 2.34%, 2.32%,2.26%, 1.45%, 1.41%, 1.39%, 0.89%, 0.88%, 0.48%, 0.20%, 0.06% subsequently whereas shares of Jubilant Food works Limited,Godrej Industries Limited, PGHH were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 0.70%, 0.55%, 0.11% respectively.

Pharma Index has a decent loss of 1.57% which opened at 7,862.80 and closed at 7,801.75.Shares of Glenmark, Biocon were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 1.50%, 0.37% respectively while shares of PEL, Divi’s Lab, Sun Pharma, Cipla, Auro Pharma, Cadila healthcare, Dr.Reddy, Lupin were the losers with a loss of 2.80%, 2.04%, 1.93%, 1.91%, 1.88%, 1.86%, 0.42%, 0.27% respectively.

Metal Index has a downward tendency which recorded a loss of 2.11%. Shares of Jindal stainless limited, Coal India, Sail, NMDC, Welcorp, Hindustan Zinc, Hindustan Copper, National Aluminium, Tata Steel were the losers in this index with a loss of 4.67%,3.89%,3.83%, 3.35%, 2.63%, 2.39%, 2.28%, 2.05%, 1.77% while shares of Jindal steel, JSW Steel, APL Apollo were the gainers with a gain of 1.12%, 0.17%, 0.10% subsequently.

Bank Index has a downward tendency which recorded a loss of 2.77% . YES Bank was the only gainer in this company with a gain of 5.90% while shares of PNB, Bank of Baroda, SBI, IndusInd Bank, IDFC First Bank, Kotak Bank, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Federal Bank, RBL Bank were the losers with a loss of 11.25%, 4.48%, 3.98%, 3.67%, 3.00%, 2.73%, 2.69%, 2.41%, 2.20%, 1.96%, 1.02% subsequently.

Energy Index started the trading session at 15,753.30 and ended the trading session at 15,379.95.Shares of ONGC, NTPC, IOC, Tata Power, Powergrid, Reliance Infra, BPCL, Hindustan Petroleum, Gail, Reliance were in the negative territory with a loss of 5.57%,5.35%, 2.56%, 3.05%, 2.50%, 2.25%, 2.18%, 1.46%, 1.44%, 0.86% respectively .

Media Index has a downward motion which opened at 2,051.00 and closed at 1,986.30 .Shares of Eros Media, TV Today were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 4.19%, 1.04% whereas shares of TV18 Broadcast, Network18, Zee Media, DEN, Dish TV, PVR, Zee Limited, DB corp. were the top losers with a loss of 6.29%, 6.06%, 5.58%, 5.46%, 4.61%, 3.35%, 3.31%, 3.28% respectively.

Auto Index was in the negative territory which recorded a loss of 3.26%. Shares of Hero Moto Corp, Maruti, Mother Son sumi system, Apollo tyre, Bosch Ltd, TVS Motors, Tata Motors, Eicher Motors were the top losers with a loss of 5.26%, 4.83%, 3.66%, 3.56%, 3.41%, 3.36%, 3.18%, 2.86% respectively.

Realty Index was the top loser of today’s trading session which recorded a loss of 3.49%. Brigade was the only gainer of this Index with a gain of 0.06% while shares of Prestige, Oberoi Realty, Godrej Properties, Phoenix Ltd, Sun Teck, DLF, India bulls real-estate, Mahindra Life space, Sobha were the losers with a loss of 5.28%, 1.97%, 4.33%, 4.13%, 3.97%, 2.35%, 1.90%, 1.80%, 1.55% respectively.
