NIFTY FIFTY STAYED POSITIVE THROUGOUTH THE DAY AND ENED WITH POSITIVE NOTES.

Nifty Fifty has witnessed a gain of 0.25% which was closed at 11,946.75. About 31 shares have advanced, 19 shares declined. It touched a high of 11,969.25 and low of 11,923.65.Market traded with positive notes as investors remained on the sidelines ahead of Union Budget. Sectorial Indexes like Realty, Auto, Bank, FMCG, Energy, IT Indexes were in the gainer side whereas Metal, Pharma, Media Indexes were in the loser side.

Realty Index has an upward momentum during the trading session which recorded a gain of 0.91%. Shares of Oberoi Realty, Indiabulls real-estate, Sun Teck, Sobha, Prestige, Brigade, DLF were the gainers with a gain of 2.29%, 2.03%, 1.71%, 1.23%, 1.11%, 0.40%, 0.23% subsequently while shares of Mahindra Life space, Phoenix Ltd, Godrej Properties were the losers with a loss of 0.72%, 0.54%, 0.32% respectively.

Auto Index recorded a gain of 0.47%. Stocks like Bharat forg, Amara raja Batteries Limited, Tata Motors,Bosch Ltd, Hero Motors, Eicher Motors, Mother Son Sumi System, Mahindra & Mahindra were in the gainer side with a gain of 2.96%, 2.80%,1.76%, 0.92%, 0.79%, 0.61%, 0.24%, 0.22% respectively while Stocks like Apollo Tyre, Exide Industries Limited, TVS Motors, MRF, Ashok Leyland, Bajaj Auto, Maruti were in the loser side with a loss of 0.55%, 0.48%, 0.46%, 0.41%, 0.28%, 0.06%, 0.04% respectively.

Bank Index has gained 0.29% with shares of Bank Of Baroda, IndusInd Bank, Kotak Bank, PNB, SBI, Axis Bank, IDFC First Bank, RBL Bank gained by 3.27%, 1.48%, 1.45%, 0.80%, 0.40%, 0.34%, 0.33%, 0.32% respectively while Shares of YES Bank, Federal Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank were the losers ,lose by 3.06%, 1.09%, 0.36%, 0.27% respectively.

FMCG Index recorded a gain of 0.26%. Shares of Britannia, Emami Ltd, Jubilant food work Limited, HUL, Colgate Palmolive, ITC, GSK Cons, Godrej Products, PGHH, Marico were in the positive zone with a gain of 1.91%, 1.49%, 0.72%, 0.52%, 0.42%, 0.40%,0.32%, 0.27%, 0.09%, 0.09% respectively while shares of UBL,Dabur,Tata Global, USL, Godrej Industries Limited were in the negative zone with a loss of 1.50%, 1.04%, 0.77%, 0.67%, 0.52% respectively.

Energy Index has an upward tendency during the trading session which recorded a gain of 0.17%. Shares of Gail, Powergrid, ONGC, IOC, Reliance, Hindustan Petroleum were having positive notes with a gain of 0.97%, 0.57%, 0.48%, 0.35%, 0.11%, 0.05% respectively whereas shares of Tata Power, BPCL, Reliance Infra, NTPC were having negative notes with a loss of 2.30%, 0.31%, 0.27%, 0.10% respectively.

IT Index has witnessed a gain of 0.09% with shares of OFSS, Infibeam, NIIT Tech, Wipro, Infosys, TCS gained by 0.91%, 0.79%, 0.33%, 0.27%, 0.16%,0.15% respectively whereas shares of HCL Tech, Mind tree, Tata Elaxi, Tech Mahindra were the losers with a loss of 1.11%, 1.02%, 0.78%, 0.09% respectively.

Media Index witnessed a loss of 0.39%. Shares of Zee Media, Dish TV, Jagran, Inox Leisure, Network18,Navneet Education Limited, PVR were in the gainer side with a gain of 8.50%,1.12%, 0.47%, 0.37%, 0.19%, 0.05%, 0.03% respectively while shares of Eros Media,DB Corp, Zee Limited, DEN, TV18 Broadcast, TV Today, Sun TV, Hathway were the losers with a loss of 4.96%, 1.74%, 1.26%, 1.17%, 0.83%, 0.77%, 0.69%, 0.44% respectively.

Pharma Index has a loss of 0.56%. shares of Auro Pharma, Lupin, Dr. Reddy, Biocon were the gainers, gained by 1.64%, 0.22%, 0.17%, 0.02% respectively whereas shares of PEL, Sun Pharma, Divi’s Lab, Glenmark, Cadila healthcare, Cipla were the losers of this Index with a loss of 4.08%, 1.06%, 0.86%, 0.82%, 0.38%, 0.32% respectively.

Metal Index has a downward momentum during the trading session which recording a loss of 0.99%. Shares of Jindal stainless steel, Welcorp, APL Apollo, Sail, Coal India were in the gainer side with a gain of 3.45%, 2.13%, 0.52%, 0.39%, 0.16% respectively while shares of Jindal Steel, NMDC, JSW Steel, Hindustan Copper, Hindalco, Vedanta Limited, Tata Steel, Moil, Hindustan Zinc Were in the loser side with a loss of 1.91%, 1.82%, 1.19%, 1.11%, 1.05%, 1.01%, 0.60%, 0.42%, 0.15% respectively.
