NIFTY FIFTY MANAGED TO RECOUP LOSSES IN SECOND HALF AND HIT DAY'S HIGH OF 11,145.30

Nifty Fifty has witnessed a gain of 0.29% which was closed at 11,118.00.It touched an intraday high of 11,145.30 and low of 10,999.40.About 37 shares were in advance while 13 shares were in decline. Market ended with positive notes due to gain in Metal, Pharma, Auto stocks. Sectorial Indexes like Metal, Pharma, Auto, IT, FMCG, Energy, Bank Indexes were in the gainer side whereas Realty, Media Indexes were in the loser side.

Metal Index has an upward momentum during the trading session which recorded a gain of 2.42%. Shares of Welcorp, Tata Steel, Hindustan Copper, Jindal steel, APL Apollo, National Aluminium, JSW steel, Sail, Coal India, Vedanta Limited were the top gainers with a gain of 5.29%, 4.32%, 3.96%, 3.46%, 3.30%, 3.06%, 2.89%, 2.64%, 2.13%, 2.03% subsequently while Moil was the only loser with a loss of 1.35%.

Pharma Index recorded a gain of 1.39%. Stocks like Cadila healthcare, Sun Pharma, Auro Pharma, Glenmark, Lupin, PEL, Dr. Reddy, Cipla were in the gainer side with a gain of 3.84%, 3.83%, 2.94%, 1.85%, 1.79%, 1.50%, 0.32%, 0.11% respectively while Stocks like Biocon, Divi’s Lab were in the loser side with a loss of 3.25%, 1.53% respectively.

Auto Index reported a gain of 1.30%. Shares of TVS Motors, Apollo tyre, Amara raja Batteries Limited, Hero Moto corp., Mother son Sumi System, Bharat Forg, Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors were in the gainer side with a gain of 7.40%, 5.34%, 4.61%, 3.90%, 2.99%, 1.95%, 1.75%,1.72% respectively while shares of Maruti, MRF, Bosch Ltd were the losers with a loss of 0.67%, 0.61%,0.06% respectively.

IT Index has gained 1.30% with shares of Tata Elaxi, Infibeam, OFSS, Wipro, HCL Tech, TCS, Infosys, NIIT Tech, Mind tree gained by 2.92%, 2.58%, 2.57%, 1.51%, 1.02%, 1.00%, 0.29%, 0.09%,0.06% respectively while Tech Mahindra was the loser with a loss of 0.79%.

FMCG Index recorded a gain of 0.70%. Shares of Godrej Industries Limited, USL, PGHH,Colgate Palmolive, Marico, UBL, Dabur, ITC,Tata Global were in the positive zone with a gain of 4.37%,4.25%,1.84%, 1.82%, 1.13%, 1.03%, 0.84%, 0.71%,0.36% respectively.

Energy Index has an upward tendency during the trading session which recorded a gain of 0.44%. shares of Reliance Infra, IOC, BPCL, Tata Power, Hindustan Petroleum, Powergrid were having positive notes with a gain of 12.72%, 3.93%, 2.83%, 2.72%, 2.56%, 1.80% respectively whereas shares of Reliance, NTPC, ONGC, Gail were having negative notes with a loss of 1.33%, 0.67%, 0.25%, 0.23% respectively.

Bank Index has witnessed a gain of 0.29% with shares of IDFC First Bank, IndusInd Bank, YES Bank, Bank of Baroda,PNB, Federal Bank, SBI, Kotak Bank gained by 5.53%, 5.29%, 4.24%, 3.99%, 3.59%, 1.99%, 1.51%, 1.22% respectively whereas shares of Axis Bank, HDFC Bank were the losers with a loss of 4.64%, 0.12% respectively.

Realty Index has a loss of 0.22%. Shares of Sobha, Mahindra Lifespace, Godrej Properties were the gainers, gained by 2.51%, 1.37%, 0.65% respectively whereas shares of Phoenix Ltd, Sun Teck, India bulls real-estate, Prestige, Brigade, DLF, Oberoi Realty were the losers of this Index with a loss of 4.85%, 3.52%, 1.57%, 1.38%, 0.61%, 0.17%, 0.08% respectively.

Media Index has a downward momentum during the trading session which recording a loss of 2.92%.Shares of Network18,Navneet Education Limited, Sun TV, DEN were in the gainer side with a gain of 3.60%, 2.18%, 1.30%, 0.67% respectively while shares of Zee Limited, Jagran, Eros Media, Dish TV, PVR, Hathway, TV Today,Zee MEdia were in the loser side with a loss of 5.25%, 5.11%, 4.76%, 4.58%, 3.90%, 2.92%,2.51%,1.67% respectively.
