NIFTY FIFTY SETTLE AT 11,189.20 LEVEL , DOWN 95.10 POINTS, OR 0.84 PER CENT.

Nifty Fifty closed at 11,189.20, recorded a loss of 0.84% which was earlier opened at 11,307.50.It touched a high of 11,310.95 and low of 11,152.40.About 7 shares were in advance while 43 shares were in advance. Equity market traded with negative note hit by a fall in auto stocks, persistent selling by foreign investors, muted corporate results, and sharp fall in bond yields. Sectorial Index like IT index was the only gainer with a gain of 0.34% while Bank, FMCG, Realty, Energy, Pharma, Metal, Media, Auto Indexes were the losers with a loss of 0.10%, 0.57%, 0.93%, 1.05%, 1.70%, 2.99%,3.28%, 3.57% respectively .

IT Index stood as the only gainer of today’s trading session which recorded a gain of 0.34%. Shares of Mind tree, HCL Tech, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra were in the gainer side with a gain of 1.59%, 0.96%, 0.76%, 0.62%, 0.08% respectively whereas shares of NIIT tech, Tata Elaxi, OFSS, Infibeam, Wipro were the losers with a loss of 5.50%,1.42%, 0.80%, 0.60%, 0.47% respectively.

Bank Index has lose 0.10% with shares Bank of Baroda, IDFC First Bank, Federal Bank, RBL Bank, YES Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank lose by 3.33%, 2.01%, 1.94%, 1.82%, 1.41%, 1.23%, 1.08%, 0.42% respectively while shares of ICICI Bank, PNB, IndusInd Bank, SBI were the gainers with a gain of 2.90%, 1.32%, 1.13%, 0.20% respectively.

FMCG Index has a downward tendency during the trading session which was closed at 28,974.95.Stocks like Emami Ltd, UBL, Marico, Colgate Palmolive, Godrej Industries Limited were in the gainer side with a gain of 1.66%, 1.46%, 0.80%, 0.04%, 0.02% respectively while stocks like HUL, ITC, USL, Godrej Products, Tata Global, GSK Cons, PGHH, Jubilant food works Limited were in the loser side with a loss of 1.25%, 1.16%, 1.10%, 0.94%, 0.68%, 0.47%, 0.44%,0.28% respectively.

Realty Index closed at 271.85, reported a loss of 0.93%. Shares of Sobha, Oberoi Realty were in the positive territory with a gain of 3.56%, 0.07% respectively while shares of India bulls real-estate, Mahindra Life space, Phoenix Ltd, Godrej Properties, Sun Teck, DLF, Brigade, Prestige were in the negative territory with a loss of 6.70%, 5.36%, 1.33%, 1.02%, 0.81%, 0.78%, 0.68%, 0.66% subsequently.

Energy Index has a loss of 1.05% with shares of Reliance Infra, Hindustan Petro, IOC, Powergrid, Tata Power, Gail, NTPC,ONGC,BPCL, Reliance lose by 8.42%, 2.27%, 1.97%, 1.68%, 1.44%, 1.39%, 1.09%, 0.35%,0.25%, 0.20% consequently .

Pharma Index has a downward motion during the trading session which registered a loss of 1.70%. Stocks like Cadila healthcare, Auro Pharma, Dr. Reddy, Sun Pharma, Cipla, Biocon, Lupin,PEL, Glenmark, Divi’s Lab were in the loser side with a loss of 3.22%, 2.15%, 2.11%, 2.03%, 1.88%, 1.84%, 1.09%, 1.02%, 0.93%, 0.77% respectively.

Metal Index ended the trading session at 2,611.90 ,reported a loss of 2.99%. Shares of Welcorp, Vedanta Limited, APL Apollo, Hindustan Zinc, Hindalco, JSW Steel, Coal India, Tata Steel, Sail, NMDC were the top losers with a loss of 5.61%, 5.305, 4.60%, 4.21%, 2.53%, 2.52%, 2.44%, 2.26%, 2.10%, ,1.89% respectively .

Media Index recorded a loss of 3.28%. Shares of Eros Media, Hathway, Zee Media were the gainers with a gain of 1.12%, 0.48%, 0.39% respectively whereas shares of Dish TV ,Sun TV, Zee Limited, PVR, Inox Leisure, Network18,DB Corp, TV18 Broadcast, DEN were the losers with a loss of 6.21%, 4.58%, 4.17%, 3.01%, 2.40%, 2.02%, 1.64%,1.56%, 0.60% respectively .

Auto Index was the top loser of today’s trading session with a loss of 3.57%. Stocks like Tata Motors, Apollo tyre, TVS Motors, Bajaj Auto, Mother son Sumi system, Eicher Motors, Maruti, Ashok Leyland, Hero Moto Corp were in the negative territory with a loss of 6.35%, 6.28%, 5.15%, 4.94%,4.82%, 4.75%, 4.49%, 3.57%,2.40% respectively . Shares of automobile manufacturers crashed at the bourses on Monday after reports said that the government intended to hike registration and renewal charges for internal combustion vehicles.
