NIFTY FIFTY SLIPPED 177.65 POINTS OR 1.53% TO 11,419.25 LEVEL.

Nifty Fifty witnessed a loss of 1.53% which was opened at 11,627.95 and closed at 11,419.25.It Touched an intraday high of 11,640.35 and low of 11,399.30. Of the 50 stocks listed at the index, only 7 stocks advanced while the remaining 43 declined. Market ended with negative notes because of 'Super-rich tax' concerns on FPI, trade war tensions and weak corporate earnings .All the sectorial Indexes were in red. Energy, IT, Metal, Realty, FMCG,Bank, Pharma, Media, Auto Indexes lose by 0.22%, 0.74%, 1.32%, 1.47%,1.78%, 2.17%, 2.23%,2.51%, 3.31% respectively.

Energy Index was in the negative territory which recorded a loss of 0.22%. Shares of NTPC, Powergrid, ONGC, Tata Power, Hindustan Petroleum, BPCL were the gainers of this Index with a gain of 2.20%, 0.51%, 0.45%, 0.45%, 0.14%, 0.04% respectively while shares of Reliance Infra, Gail, IOC, Reliance were the losers with a loss of 12.37%,3.21%, 0.91%, 0.70% respectively.

IT Index started the trading session at 15,520.70 and ended the trading session at 15,383.65, reporting a loss of 0.74%. Shares of TCS, NIIT Tech were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 0.68%, 0.26% respectively while stocks like Tata Elaxi, Mindtree, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Infibeam, Infosys, HCL Tech, OFSS were in the loser side with a loss of 4.26%, 2.91%, 1.78%, 1.34%, 1.19%, 0.97%, 0.35%, 0.20% respectively.

Metal Index has witnessed a loss of 1.32% with shares of Moil, Welcorp, Jindal Steel, Hindustan Zinc, JSW Steel, Hindalco, APL Apollo, Hindustan Copper, Tata Steel lose by 3.37%, 3.24%, 2.52%, 2.40%, 2.39%, 2.22%, 2.10%, 1.77%, 1.63% subsequently whereas shares of Coal India, NMDC were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 0.82%, 0.61% respectively.

Realty Index has a decent loss of 1.47% which opened at 282.60 and closed at 277.55. shares of Godrej Properties, India bulls real-estate, Sun Teck, DLF, Brigade, Sobha, Oberoi Realty, Phoenix Ltd, Mahindra Life space, Prestige were the losers with a loss of 3.10%, 2.09%, 2.01%, 1.75%, 1.25%, 1.03%, 0.98%, 0.75%, 0.66%, 0.14% respectively.

FMCG Index has a downward tendency which recorded a loss of 1.78%. Shares of USL, Colgate Palmolive, PGHH, Godrej Products, Tata Global, Britannia, Jubilant Foodworks Limited were the top losers with a loss of 3.17%, 2.91%, 2.49%, 2.42%, 2.41%, 2.20%, 2.12% subsequently.

Bank Index was in the negative territory which recorded a loss of 2.17%. Shares of RBL Bank, IDFC First Bank, IndusInd Bank, YES Bank, Bank of Baroda, Kotak Bank, SBI, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank¸PNB, Federal Bank were the losers with a loss of 13.76%, 3.71%, 3.56%, 3.55%, 2.76%, 2.02%, 1.76%, 1.64%, 1.39%, 1.34%, 1.02%, 0.35% subsequently.

Pharma Index started the trading session at 8,253.75 and ended the trading session at 8,040.10.Shares of Biocon, PEL, Auro Pharma, Glenmark, Cipla, Cadila healthcare, Divi’s Lab, Dr. Reddy, Lu[pin, Sun Pharma were in the negative territory with a loss of 8.59%, 4.66%, 3.32%, 1.95%, 1.86%, 1.36%, 1.33%, 1.26%, 1.21%, 1.18% respectively.

Media Index has a downward motion which opened at 2,077.60 and closed at 2,020.10 .Shares of TV Today, Hathway were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 0.64%, 0.23% whereas shares of DEN, Dish TV, DB Corp, Eros Media, TV 18 Broadcast, Jagran, Zee Media were the top losers with a loss of 7.21%, 7.17%, 5.28%, 4.68%, 4.40%, 4.22%,2.93% respectively.

Auto Index was the top loser of today’s trading session which recorded a loss of 3.31%. Shares of Exide Industries Limited, Amara raja Batteries Limited, Mother son Sumi System, Mahindra & Mahindra , Eicher Motors, TVS Motors, Tata Motors, Hero Moto Corp, MRF were the top losers with a loss of 6.18%,5.14%, 4.81%, 4.39%, 3.84%, 3.73%, 3.45%, 3.37%, 3.13% respectively.
