POSITIVE GLOBAL CUES HELPED NIFTY FIFTY TO CLOSE WITH POSITIVE NOTES

Nifty fifty ended the day at 11,582.90, up 84.00 points, or 0.73%. It touched an intraday high of 11,599.00 and low of 11,519.50.About 40 shares were in advance while 10 shares were in decline. Market railed after the US Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell bolstered expectations the Fed would cut U.S. interest rates soon. All the sectorial Indexes were in the gainer side. Media, Auto, Metal, Realty, Pharma, Bank, Energy, FMCG,IT Indexes were having a gain of 3.87%, 1.86%, 1.77%, 1.29%, 1.26%, 0.64%, 0.53%,0.48%,0.30% respectively.

Media Index emerged as the top gainer of today’s trading session which recorded a gain of 3.87%. Shares of Dish TV, DEN, Zee Limited, Hathway, Zee Media, TV18 Broadcast, PVR, Sun TV, Jagran, Network18 were the gainers with a gain of 16.44%, 11.85%,7.59%,5.30%, 4.17%, 1.56%, 1.53%, 1.49%, 0.68%, 0.41% respectively while shares of Eros Media,DB Corp, Inox Leisure, Navneet education Limited, TV today were the losers in this Index with a loss of 4.49%, 2.23%, 1.72%, 0.98%, 0.47% respectively.

Auto Index has a upward momentum during the trading session which registered a gain of 1.86%. Shares of Hero Moto Corp, Bharat Forg, Tata Motors, TVS Motors, Mother son Sumi system, Mahindra & Mahindra, MRF, Exide Industries Limited, Maruti were the top gainers with a gain of 4.59%,4.38%, 3.20%,3.04%, 2.29%, 2.02%, 1.78%, 1.66%, 1.44% respectively .

Metal Index has gained 1.77% with shares of JSW Steel, Jindal stainless limited, Hindalco, Vedanta Limited, Hindustan Zinc, Jindal steel, Sail, Tata Steel, Hindustan Copper, Coal India, Moil, National Aluminium were in the gainer side with a gain of 4.96%, 3.32%, 2.76%, 2.69%, 2.20%, 1.82%, 1.75%, 1.42%, 1.06%, 0.75%, 0.59%, 0.11% respectively while shares of NMDC, APL Apollo, Welcorp were in the loser side with a loss of 2.55%, 1.21%, 0.33% respectively.

Realty Index has witnessed a gain of 1.29% with shares of DLF, Godrej Properties, India bulls Real-estate, Phoenix Ltd, Sobha gained by 4.16%, 2.88%, 1.23%, 0.60%, 0.05% respectively while shares of Oberoi Realty, Mahindra Lifespace, Brigade, Sun Teck, Prestige were the loser ,lose by 2.95%, 1.45%, 1.35%, 1.19%,0.22% respectively.

Pharma Index ended the session at 8,110.05,up by 1.26%. Shares of Cadila Healthcare, Dr.Reddy, Biocon, Sun Pharma,PEL, Cipla, Auro Pharma, Glenmark were the gainers with a gain of 2.43%, 2.41%, 2.41%, 1.58%, 1.55%, 1.46%, 1.16%, 1.14% respectively while shares of Lupin, Divi’s Lab were the losers in this Index with a loss of 0.90%, 0.88% respectively.

Bank Index has an upward motion during the trading session which recorded a gain of 0.64%. Shares of IndusInd Bank, SBI, PNB, Bank of Baroda, RBL Bank, HDFC Bank, YES Bank, IDFC Bank, Kotak Bank were the gainers with a gain of 3.61%, 2.48%, 2.47%, 1.41%, 1.34%, 0.63%, 0.27%, 0.23%,0.22% respectively whereas shares of ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Federal Bank were the losers with a loss of 1.17%, 0.49%, 0.33% respectively.

Energy Index was in the positive territory which registered a gain of 0.53%. Shares of Reliance Infra,Gail, Tata Power, ONGC, BPCL, Reliance were the gainers with a gain of 10.75%, 1.83%, 1.58%, 1.36%, 0.89%, 0.34%,0.13% respectively while shares of IOC, Hindustan Petroleum, NTPC were the losers with a loss of 0.78%, 0.24%, 0.12% respectively.

FMCG Index registered a gain of 0.48% in today’s trading session. Stocks like UBL, Tata Global, GSK Cons, USL, Emami Ltd, ITC, HUL, Britannia were in the gainer side with a gain of 1.55%, 1.53%, 1.29%, 1.18%, 1.11%, 0.84%,0.78% respectively while stocks like Jubilant Food works Limited, Colgate Palmolive, Godrej Industries Limited, Marico, PGHH, Dabur were the losers with a loss of 1.17%, 1.09%, 0.69%, 0.66%, 0.37%, 0.31%, 0.27%, 0.24% respectively.

IT Index gained 0.30% with shares of OFSS, NIIT Tech, Infibeam, Infosys, Mind tree, Wipro, HCL Tech gained by 4.15%, 1.17%, 1.07%, 0.72%, 0.40%, 0.39%,0.21% respectively while shares of Tech Mahindra, Tata Elaxi, TCS were the losers ,lose by 1.41%, 0.78%, 0.30% respectively.
