NIFTY FIFTY CLOSED 57 POINTS OR 0.49% LOWER AT 11,498.90.

Nifty Fifty falls for the 4th day, slips below 11,500, witnessed a loss of 0.49%. It touched a intraday high of 11,593.70 and low of 11,475.65.Among NSE’s Nifty Fifty, 14 shares were in advance while 36 shares were in decline. Market ended with negative notes as rising crude prices along with fall in financial services, metals, auto and PSU, oil stocks dented sentiment. All the sectorial Indexes were in the negative territory. Pharma, Bank, Media, IT,FMCG, Energy, Auto, Metal, Realty Indexes lose by 0.03%, 0.15%, 0.20%,0.56%, 0.57%, 0.78%, 1.08%, 1.13%, 1.57% respectively.

Pharma Index was in the negative territory which recorded a loss of 0.03%. Shares of Lupin, Divi’s Lab, Sun Pharma, Biocon were the gainers of this Index with a gain of 1.44%, 1.24%, 1.05%, 0.78% respectively while shares of PEL, Auro Pharma, Cadila healthcare, Cipla, Glenmark, Dr. Reddy were the losers with a loss of 2.47%, 1.41%, 1.34%,0.87%, 0.73%, 0.51% respectively.

Bank Index has a downward motion which opened at 30,618.05 and closed at 30,522.10.Shares of Yes Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Bank, HDFC Bank were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 2.08%, 0.75%, 0.52%, 0.51% whereas shares of Axis Bank, PNB, Bank of Baroda, SBI, Federal Bank, IDFC First Bank, RBL Bank, IndusInd Bank were the losers with a loss of 2.31%, 2.08%, 1.51%, 1.34%, 1.31%, 0.47%, 0.31%, 0.14% respectively.

Media Index started the trading session at 1,986.30 and ended the trading session at 1,980.45.Shares of Inox Leisure, Navneet Education Limited, TV Today, PVR, DB Corp, Zee Limited, DEN were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 3.99%, 2.90%, 2.235, 2.13%, 0.56%, 0.38%, 0.27% respectively while shares of Dish TV, Eros media,Network18,Zee Media, Sun TV, TV18 Broadcast, Jagran, Hathway were in the negative territory with a loss of 7.71%, 4.88%, 3.75%,2.82%, 2.46%, 2.40%,1.35%,0.46% respectively .

IT Index has a downward tendency which recorded a loss of 0.56% .Shares of Wipro, Infosys were the gainers in this index with a gain of 0.49%, 0.29% respectively while shares of OFSS, Mind tree, TCS,NIIT Tech, Tata Elaxi, Infibeam, HCL Tech, Tech Mahindra were the losers with a loss of 2.76%,1.79%, 1.31%, 0.67%, 0.56%, 0.36%, 0.07%, 0.06% subsequently.

FMCG Index has a downward tendency which recorded a loss of 0.57%. Shares of Jubilant food works Limited, Dabur, UBL, Britannia, Godrej Industries Limited were the gainers in this index with a gain of 1.08%, 0.86%, 0.67%, 0.27%, 0.03% while shares of Tata Global, GSK cons, HUL, Godrej Products, USL, Colgate Palmolive, Emami Limited, PGHH, ITC, Marico were the top losers with a loss of 4.59%, 2.53%, 1.91%, 1.54%, 1.51%, 1.24%, 1.10%, 0.57%, 0.22%, 0.08% subsequently.

Energy Index has a decent loss of 0.78% which opened at 15,574.50 and closed at 15,466.40.Powergrid was the only gainer in this Index with a gain of 0.37% while shares of Reliance Infra, Tata Power, BPCL, IOC, Gail, ONGC, Hindustan Petroleum, NTPC, Reliance were the losers with a loss of 6.03%, 3.21%, 2.85%, 2.15%, 1.53%, 1.11%, 0.69%, 0.58%, 0.23% respectively.

Auto Index has witnessed a loss of 1.08% with shares of TVS Motors, Tata Motors,Bharat forg,Hero Moto Corp, Bajaj Auto, Eicher Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Bosch Ltd lose by 2.58%, 2.50%, 2.33%, 1.80%, 1.70%, 1.52%, 1.45%,0.64% subsequently whereas shares of Ashok Leyland, MRF, Amara raja Batteries Limited were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 1.07%, 1.02%,0.16% respectively.

Metal Index started the trading session at 2,791.70 and ended the trading session at 2,756.45, reporting a loss of 1.13%. Shares of NMDC, Coal India, Moil were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 3.66%, 1.70%, 0.79% respectively while stocks like Tata Steel, Hindustan Zinc, JSW steel, Sail, Jindal steel, National aluminium, Hindalco, Welcorp were in the loser side with a loss of 3.05%, 2.97%, 2.73%, 2.67%, 2.47%, 2.41%, 2.25%, 1.93% respectively .

Realty Index was the top loser of today’s trading session which recorded a loss of 1.57%. Shares of Mahindra Life space, Phoenix Ltd, India bulls real-estate, Godrej Properties were the gainers with a gain of 2.47%, 2.37%, 1.33%, 1.20% subsequently while shares of Oberoi Realty, DLF, Sobha, Brigade, Prestige, Sun Teck were the losers with a loss of 3.78%, 3.35%, 3.31%, 2.75%, 2.68%, 0.47% respectively.
