DAILY CURRENCY MARKET 4th JULY 2019

Rupee opened 8 paise higher note at 68.82 as against dollar on Thursday, tracking positive opening in domestic equities and easing crude oil prices after closed at 68.90 on Wednesday. Rupee closed 42 paise higher against the dollar at 68.48 on easing crude oil prices . Moreover, easing crude oil prices, rising in domestic equities supported the rupee. USD/INR touched intraday low of 68.47 and high of 68.89. Meanwhile, Sensex was up 68.81 points or 0.17% at 39908.06, while Nifty was up 30.00 points or 0.25% at 11946.75.

The Indian currency (INR) was trading 50 paise higher at 77.33 as against Euro. The currency pair EUR/INR opened at 77.67 which was previously close at 77.83. The Currency pair GBP/INR and JPY/INR were trading at 86.19 and 0.63 respectively. The other currency pairs ZAR/INR, MYR/INR, SAR/INR and AED/INR were trading at 4.90, 16.59, 18.27 and 18.66 subsequently.

The USD/JPY was trading at 107.78. The currency pair EUR/USD was trading at 1.12. The paired currency EUR/JPY was trading at 121.65 Elsewhere, the currency pair GBP/USD was trading at 1.26. The other currencies pairs AUD/USD, NZD/USD, MYR/USD and SAR/USD were trading at 0.70, 0.67, 0.24 and 0.27 respectively.
