DAILY CURRENCY MARKET 3rd JULY 2019

Rupee opened 10 paise higher note at 68.84 as against dollar on Wednesday after closed at 68.94 on Tuesday. Rupee closed 5 paise higher against the dollar at 68.89 on easing crude oil prices . At present, trade tensions, global slowdown and banking stress in India will keep a check on rupee appreciation. USD/INR touched intraday low of 68.79 and high of 68.96. Meanwhile, Sensex was up 22.77 points or 0.06% at 39839.25, while Nifty was up 6.45 points or 0.05% at 11916.75.

The Indian currency (INR) was trading 6 paise higher at 77.83 as against Euro. The currency pair EUR/INR opened at 77.75 which was previously close at 77.90. The Currency pair GBP/INR and JPY/INR were trading at 86.59 and 0.64 respectively. The other currency pairs ZAR/INR, MYR/INR, SAR/INR and AED/INR were trading at 4.88, 16.63, 18.36 and 18.75 subsequently.

The USD/JPY was trading at 107.71. The currency pair EUR/USD was trading at 1.12. The paired currency EUR/JPY was trading at 121.62 Elsewhere, the currency pair GBP/USD was trading at 1.26. The other currencies pairs AUD/USD, NZD/USD, MYR/USD and SAR/USD were trading at 0.70, 0.67, 0.24 and 0.27 respectively.
