DAILY CURRENCY MARKET 2nd JULY 2019

Rupee opened 3 paise lower note at 68.98 as against dollar on Tuesday after closed at 68.95 on Monday. Rupee closed 7 paise lower against the dollar at 69.02. USD/INR touched intraday low of 68.94 and high of 69.06. Indian Currency closed marginally lower as many dealers were on leave due to heavy rains in Mumbai. The US dollar moved up after the United States and China agreed to restart their troubled trade talks. Meanwhile, Sensex settled 129.98 points, or 0.33 %, higher at 39816.48 while Nifty50 index closed the day at 11910.30, up 44.70 points, or 0.38%.

The Indian currency (INR) was trading 31 paise higher at 77.96 as against Euro. The currency pair EUR/INR opened at 77.81 which was previously close at 78.27. The Currency pair GBP/INR and JPY/INR were trading at 87.10 and 0.63 respectively. The other currency pairs ZAR/INR, MYR/INR, SAR/INR and AED/INR were trading at 4.89, 16.64, 18.38 and 18.77 subsequently.

The USD/JPY was trading at 108.17. The currency pair EUR/USD was trading at 1.12. The paired currency EUR/JPY was trading at 122.24 Elsewhere, the currency pair GBP/USD was trading at 1.26. The other currencies pairs AUD/USD, NZD/USD, MYR/USD and SAR/USD were trading at 0.70, 0.67, 0.24 and 0.27 respectively.
