DAILY CURRENCY MARKET 29th JULY 2019

The rupee opened 4 paise lower at 68.94 against the US dollar on Monday after settling at 68.90 on Friday.USD/INR touched intraday low of 68.72 and high of 68.97. The rupee closed 17 paise higher at 68.73 against the dollar. Meanwhile, Sensex was down 196.42 points or 0.52% at 37686.37 while Nifty was down 95.10 points or 0.84% at 11189.20.

The Rupee was trading at 76.39 as against Euro. The currency pair EUR/INR opened at 76.69, which was previously close at 76.71. The Currency pair GBP/INR and JPY/INR were trading at 85.57 and 0.63 respectively. The other currencies pairs ZAR/INR, MYR/INR, SAR/INR and AED/INR were trading at 4.84, 16.68, 18.35 and 18.73 subsequently.

The USD/JPY was trading at 108.65. The currency pair EUR/USD was trading at 1.11. The paired currency EUR/JPY was trading at 120.88. Elsewhere the currency pair GBP/USD was trading at 1.23. The other currencies pairs AUD/USD, NZD/USD, MYR/USD and SAR/USD were trading at 0.69, 0.66, 0.24 and 0.27 respectively.
