DAILY CURRENCY MARKET 23rd JULY 2019

The rupee opened 7 paise lower to 68.99 against the US dollar on Tuesday after settling at 68.92 on Monday. USD/INR touched intraday low of 68.90 and high of 69.04 . The rupee closed 2 paise lower at 68.94 against the dollar. Meanwhile, Sensex lost 48.39 points or 0.13% to settle at 37982.74 and Nifty slipped 15.15 points or 0.13% to settle at 11331.05 levels.

The Rupee was trading at 77.09 as against Euro. The currency pair EUR/INR opened at 77.19, which was previously close at 77.29. The Currency pair GBP/INR and JPY/INR were trading at 85.99 and 0.63 respectively. The other currencies pairs ZAR/INR, MYR/INR, SAR/INR and AED/INR were trading at 4.97, 16.74, 18.38 and 18.76 subsequently.

The USD/JPY was trading at 108.11. The currency pair EUR/USD was trading at 1.11. The paired currency EUR/JPY was trading at 120.78. Elsewhere the currency pair GBP/USD was trading at 1.24. The other currencies pairs AUD/USD, NZD/USD, MYR/USD and SAR/USD were trading at 0.70, 0.67, 0.24 and 0.27 respectively.
