DAILY CURRENCY MARKET 17th JULY 2019

The rupee opened 2 paise higher at 68.70 on Wednesday, after settling at 68.72 against the US dollar on Tuesday. USD/INR touched intraday low of 68.68 and high of 68.89. The rupee closed 10 paise lower at 68.82 against the dollar amid weak trade data and rising crude oil prices and foreign fund out flows. Meanwhile, Sensex was up 84.60 points or 0.22% at 39215.64 while Nifty was up 24.90 points or 0.21% at 11687.50.

The Indian currency (INR) was trading at 77.21 as against Euro. The currency pair EUR/INR opened at 77.04, which was previously close at 77.14. The Currency pair GBP/INR and JPY/INR were trading at 85.39 and 0.63 respectively. The other currencies pairs ZAR/INR, MYR/INR, SAR/INR and AED/INR were trading at 4.93, 16.73, 18.36 and 18.75 subsequently.

The USD/JPY was trading at 108.25. The currency pair EUR/USD was trading at 1.12. The paired currency EUR/JPY was trading at 121.42. Elsewhere the currency pair GBP/USD was trading at 1.24. The other currencies pairs AUD/USD, NZD/USD, MYR/USD and SAR/USD were trading at 0.70, 0.67, 0.24 and 0.27 respectively.
