DAILY CURRENCY MARKET 11th JULY 2019

The rupee opened higher at 68.30 on today, after settling at 68.58 against the US dollar on Wednesday. USD/INR touched intraday low of 68.29 and high of 68.49. The rupee closed 15 paise higher at 68.43 against the dollar The rupee increased after Federal Reserve chief Jerome Powell bolstered expectations of a rate cut later this month. Meanwhile Nifty50 today ended at 11582.90 level, up 84 points from the previous close. Sensex ended at a level of 38823.11, up 266.07 points from the last close.

The Indian currency (INR) was trading at 77.10 as against Euro. The currency pair EUR/INR opened at 77.02, which was previously close at 76.92. The Currency pair GBP/INR and JPY/INR were trading at 85.98 and 0.63 respectively. The other currencies pairs ZAR/INR, MYR/INR, SAR/INR and AED/INR were trading at 4.93, 16.62, 18.24 and 18.63 subsequently.

The USD/JPY was trading at 108.06. The currency pair EUR/USD was trading at 1.12. The paired currency EUR/JPY was trading at 122.97. Elsewhere the currency pair GBP/USD was trading at 1.26. The other currencies pairs AUD/USD, NZD/USD, MYR/USD and SAR/USD were trading at 0.70, 0.67, 0.24 and 0.27 respectively.
