CRUDE OIL FUTURES FALL ON WEAK GLOBAL CUES

At the MCX, Crude oil futures for Aug 2019 contract was trading at Rs. 3904.00 per barrel, down by 0.10%, after opening at Rs. 3884.00 per barrel, against a previous close of Rs. 3908.00 per barrel. It touched an intra-day low of Rs. 3870.00 per barrel and high of Rs. 3918.00 per barrel.

Oil prices traded on negative note on today in line with a weak trend in overseas markets.

Rising demand and a plunge in output drive cardamom prices. Cardamom Aug future stood as the top gainer on today’s trading session.

MCXCOMDEX opened at 3743.01 and traded down by 0.21% at 3736.46.Commodities like Cardamom, Copper, Natural Gas, Lead, CPO, Cotton, Gold were stood as top gainers, gained 4.00%, 0.50%, 0.46%, 0.35%, 0.28%, 0.19%, 0.01% respectively. On the other hand, Nickel, Mentha oil , Silver, Zinc, Aluminium, Crude oil futures were stood as top losers, lose by 2.81%, 0.54%, 0.39%,0.21%, 0.17%, 0.10% respectively.

Equity Market ended Thursday's volatile session in the negative with corporate earnings and F&O contract expiry guiding the markets' trajectory throughout the day. At close, the Sensex was down 16.67 points or 0.04% at 37830.98, while Nifty was down 19.15 points or 0.17% at 11252.15.
