NIFTY FIFTY EXTENDED ITS GAINS FOR THE SECOND CONSECUTIVE SESSION

Nifty Fifty settled higher 77.20 points, or 0.70 per cent, at 11,109.65 with 27 constituents advancing and 22 declining and 1 constituent unchanged. Nifty rose 0.70% after reports suggested that the government was likely to announce relief measures for auto, MSMEs and financial markets soon. Sectorial Indexes like Auto, Bank, Realty, FMCG, Energy Indexes were in the gainer side with a gain of 1.99%, 1.14%, 0.82%, 0.58%, 0.23% respectively whereas Metal, Media, Pharma, IT Indexes were in the losers side with a loss of 0.86%, 0.69%,0.51%, 0.29% respectively.

Auto Index was the top gainer of Today’s Trading session which recorded a gain of 1.99%. Shares of Mother son Sumi System, Eicher Motors, MRF, Bharat Forg, Apollo tyre, Maruti, TVS Motors, Ashok Leyland, Hero Moto Corp, Mahindra & Mahindra were the gainers with a gain of 8.80%, 4.69%, 4.57%, 4.02%, 3.53%, 3.35%, 2.52%, 1.89%, 1.25%, 1.03% respectively while shares of Amara raja Batteries Limited, Tata Motors, Bosch Ltd,Bajaj Auto, Exide Industries Limited the losers with loss of 2.84%, 1.21%, 0.74%,0.13%, 0.08% respectively.

Bank Index has an upward momentum during the trading session which recorded a gain of 1.14%. Shares of RBL Bank, IDFC First Bank, HDFC Bank, Kotak Bank, ICICI Bank, Federal Bank, PNB, IndusInd Bank, Bank of Baroda were in the positive territory with a gain of 4.91%, 4.00%, 2.32%, 1.93%, 1.68%, 0.69%, 0.08%, 0.07%, 0.05% respectively while shares of YES Bank¸SBI were the losers with a loss of 7.85%, 0.85% respectively.

Realty Index has gained 0.82% with shares of India bulls real-estate, SunTeck, Sobha, DLF, Oberoi Realty gained by 6.00%, 4.29%, 2.50%, 1.92% respectively while shares of Brigade, Phoenix Ltd, Prestige, Godrej Properties, Mahindra Lifespace,Oberoi Realty were the losers, lose by 2.35%, 1.78%, 0.87%, 0.63%, 0.26%, 0.21% respectively.

FMCG Index closed at 29,302.20, recorded a gain of 0.58%. Stocks like Jubilant Food works Limited, Marico, HUL, Colgate Palmolive,USL, GSK Cons,Godrej Products,Godrej Industries ,UBL, Britannia, Dabur,PGHH were the gainers with a gain of 2.58%, 2.30%, 1.94%, 1.93%, 1.92%, 1.92%, 1.48%,1.33%, 0.98%, 0.94%, 0.71%, 0.04% respectively while stocks like Tata Global, ITC, Emami Ltd were the losers with a loss of 1.94%, 1.34%, 0.66% respectively.

Energy Index has gained by 0.23% with shares of Reliance Infra, Gail, BPCL, Reliance ,Tata Power, IOC gained by 2.04%, 1.60%, 0.82%, 0.75%, 0.43%, 0.19% respectively while shares of NTPC, Hindustan Petroleum, Powergrid, ONGC were the losers, lose by 1.04%, 0.96%, 0.64%, 0.11% respectively.

IT Index closed at 15,821.35,recorded a loss of 0.29%. Shares of Infibeam, NIIT Tech, Mindtree, Infosys were the gainers with a gain of 6.30%, 2.61%, 0.18%, 0.16% respectively while shares of Tech Mahindra, OFSS, Wipro, TCS, HCL Tech, Tata Elaxi were the losers with a loss of 2.53%, 1.71%, 0.79%, 0.58%, 0.47%, 0.01% respectively .

Pharma Index has lose 0.51% with shares of Cipla, Biocon, Cadila healthcare, Sun Pharma, Glenmark, Lupin, Dr. Reddy, Auro Pharma lose by 3.57%, 1.21%, 1.02%, 0.93%, 0.50%, 0.32%, 0.23%, 0.21% respectively whereas shares of PEL, Divi’s Lab were the gainers, gained by 2.78%, 0.96% respectively .

Media Index has an downward motion during the trading session which recorded a loss of 0.69%. Shares of DEN, Inox Leisure, Navneet Education Limited, TV Today, DB Corp, TV18 Broadcast were in the positive zone with a gain of 3.46%, 2.77%, 1.79%, 1.53%, 0.70%, 0.25% respectively while shares of Jagran, Eros Media, PVR, Hathway, Zee Limited, Network18,Sun TV, Dish TV were the losers with a loss of 7.14%, 5.00%, 2.16%, 1.75%, 1.51%, 0.99%, 0.68%, 0.43% respectively.

Metal Index was the top loser of today’s trading session which recorded a loss of 0.86%. Stocks like Jindal stainless limited, Vedanta Limited were in the gainer side with a gain of 3.40%, 2.02%, 1.07% respectively while Stocks like Hindalco, Coal India, Tata Steel, Welcorp, Jindal steel, JSW Steel, APL Apollo were in the loser side with a loss of 2.24%, 2.15%, 1.62%, 1.19%, 1.10%, 0.99%,0.67% respectively.
