NIFTYFIFTY FELL BY NEARLY 100 POINTS AFTER STARTING ON A POSITIVE NOTE.

Nifty Fifty closed at 10,855.50,witnessed a loss of 0.85% which was earlier opened at 11,958.10.It touched an intraday high of 10,975.65 and low of 10,835.50.About 14 shares rise,35 shares fall and 1 share unchanged. Equity market ended with negative notes as the 35bps repo rate cut by Reserve Bank of India failed to revive sentiment ruined by the economic slowdown and mixed earnings. Sectorial Indexes like Media, Pharma, IT Indexes were the gainers with a gain of 1.89% ,0.78%, 0.44% respectively while Metal, Auto, Realty, Energy, Bank, FMCG Indexes were the losers with a loss of 2.39%, 2.16%,1.43%, 1.41%, 1.14%, 0.11% respectively.

Media Index was the topmost gainer in today’s trading session which recorded a gain of 1.89%. Shares of TV Today, Navneet education Limited, Zee Limited, DB Corp, Network18,Inox Leisure, Eros Media, Zee Media ,PVR were in the gainer side with a gain of 5.51%,4.94%, 2.90%, 2.41%, 1.75%, 0.65%, 0.48%, 0.45%, 0.26% subsequently while shares of Hathway, Dish TV, Jagran, DEN, TV18 Broadcast, Sun TV were in the loser side with a loss of 5.71%, 3.63%, 3.23%, 1.93%, 1.71%, 0.23% respectively.

Pharma Index has a gain of 0.78% with shares of Lupin, Cipla, Divi’s Lab, Sun Pharma, Dr. Reddy, Cadila healthcare gained by 3.47%, 2.76%, 1.41%, 0.37%, 0.15%, 0.15% respectively while Shares of PEL, Auro Pharma, Biocon, Glenmark were the losers in this Index with a loss of 3.52%, 1.33%, 0.53%, 0.45% respectively.

IT Index has registered a gain of 0.44% which was opened at 15,591.15 and closed at 15,583.35 .Stocks like Mind tree, NIIT Tech, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Infosys,TCS were the gainers with a gain of 5.57%, 1.74%,1.22%, 0.48%, 0.21%, 0.18% respectively whereas stocks like Infibeam, Tata Elaxi, OFSS,HCL Tech were the losers with a loss of 1.58%, 1.52%, 1.41%, 0.51% respectively.

FMCG Index closed at 28,814.55 ,recorded a loss of 0.11%. Shares of Godrej Products, HUL,GSK Cons, USL, Marico were the gainers with a gain of 2.02%, 1.89%, 1.75%, 1.06%,0.24% respectively while shares of ITC, Emami Ltd, Jubilant Food works Limited, Godrej Industries Limited, Colgate Palmolive, UBL, PGHH, Britannia were the losers with a loss of 2.12%, 1.96%,1.70%,0.93%, 0.75%,0.73%,0.64%,0.41% respectively.

Bank Index has a downward motion during the trading session which registered a loss of 1.14%. Shares of YES Bank, IndusInd Bank were the gainers the with a gain of 1.99%,0.91% respectively while shares of RBL Bank, Bank of Baroda, PNB, SBI, Axis Bank, Federal Bank, IDFC First Bank were the top losers with a loss of 8.44%, 6.38%, 5.22%, 4.10%, 2.86%, 1.82%,1.32% respectively.

Energy Index has lose 1.41% with shares of BPCL, Hindustan Petroleum, IOC, Reliance, Gail, ONGC, Tata Power, NTPC lose by 4.27%, 3.77%,2.72%, 2.12%, 1.86%, 0.72%, 0.51%, 0.28% respectively while Reliance Infra was the gainer with a gain of 1.09%.

Realty Index has registered a loss of 1.43% which closed at 258.70.Shares of Prestige, Mahindra Life space, Phoenix Ltd, Sun Teck were in the gainer side with a gain of 3.09%, 2.95%, 1.11%, 0.01% respectively whereas shares of India bulls real-estate, Oberoi Realty, Godrej Properties, DLF, Sobha, Brigade were in the loser side with a loss of 16.54%, 1.53%, 1.28%, 1.04%, 0.84%, 0.63% respectively.

Auto Index ended the trading session at 6,792.60, recorded a loss of 2.16%. Hero Moto corp was the only gainer with a gain of 1.29% while shares of Mahindra & Mahindra, Mother son Sumi system, Tata Motors, Bosch Ltd, Eicher Motors, TVS Motors, Bharat Forg, Ashok Leyland, Maruti were in the negative territory with a loss of 5.92%, 5.42%, 4.33%, 3.89%, 3.44%, 3.29%, 3.01%, 2.92%, 1.67% respectively.

Metal Index was the top loser of today’s trading session which recorded a loss of 2.39%. Shares of Jindal stainless limited, Hindustan Zinc, Welcorp, Coal India were the gainers with a gain of 5.18%, 1.49%, 1.26%, 0.46% respectively. Shares of Jindal steel, Tata Steel, Sail, NMDC, Vedanta Limited, JSW Steel, APL Apollo, National Aluminium were having a loss of 13.92%, 5.88%, 4.07%, 3.53%, 3.09%, 3.08%, 2.75%,2.60% respectively.
