RECOVERY WAS SEEN IN THE LAST HOUR OF TRADING

Nifty Fifty ended 0.16% higher at 10,997.35 which was earlier opened at 10,930.30.It touched an intraday high of 11,080.15 and low of 10,848.95.About 25 shares were in advance while 25 shares were in decline. Market closed with slight gains after media reports quoting government officials suggested that Prime Minister Office (PMO) and finance ministry’s top bureaucrats are in talks over foreign portfolio investor (FPI) surcharge issue. Sectorial Indexes like Auto, IT,FMCG Indexes were in the gainer side with a gain of 1.13%, 0.59%,0.02% respectively whereas Metal, Media, Energy, Realty, Bank, Pharma Indexes were the losers with a loss of 1.91%, 1.38%, 1.07%, 0.74%, 0.57%, 0.13% respectively.

Auto Index was the topmost gainer in today’s trading session which recorded a gain of 1.13%. Shares of TVS Motors, Eicher Motors, Bajaj Auto, Maruti, MRF, Mahindra & Mahindra, Bosch Ltd, Hero Moto corp., Tata Motors, Bharat Forg were in the gainer side with a gain of 3.35%, 2.53%, 2.48%, 2.47%, 1.74%, 1.60%, 1.55%, 1.36%, 0.46%, 0.24% subsequently while shares of Ashok Leyland,Apollo,Mother Son Sumi system, Exide Industries Limited, Amara raja Batteries Limited were in the loser side with a loss of 6.25%, 2.69%, 2.13%, 1.43%,1.07% respectively.

IT Index has a gain of 0.59% with shares of Tech Mahindra, Mind tree, OFSS, TCS, Tata Elaxi, Infosys, NIIT Tech gained by 1.78%, 1.74%, 1.44%, 1.14%, 1.10%, 0.77%, 0.14% respectively while shares of Wipro, HCL Tech, Infibeam lose by 2.46%, 1.14%, 1.11% respectively .

FMCG Index has registered a gain of 0.02% which was opened at 28,846.80 and closed at 28,930.75.Stocks like Marico, Tata Global, Godrej Products, USL, UBL, GSK cons, Dabur, HUL were the gainers with a gain of 3.14%, 2.55%, 2.19%, 1.65%, 1.36%, 0.65%, 0.20%, 0.16% respectively whereas stocks like Emami Ltd, Godrej Industries Limited, ITC, PGHH,Britannia, Jubilant Food works Limited, Colgate Palmolive were the losers with a loss of 1.73%, 1.71%, 1.36%, 0.46%, 0.45%, 0.17%, 0.09% respectively.

Pharma Index closed at 7,868.20, recorded a loss of 0.13%. Shares of Biocon, Lupin, Cipla, Glenmark, Dr. Reddy were the gainers with a gain of 4.00%, 1.21%, 0.69%, 0.31%, 0.05% respectively while shares of Divi’s Lab, Sun Pharma,PEL, Auro Pharma, Cadila healthcare were the losers with a loss of 1.26%, 1.20%, 1.02%, 0.41%, 0.18% respectively.

Bank Index has a downward motion during the trading session which registered a loss of 0.57%. Shares of RBL Bank, Kotak Bank, Axis Bank, PNB were the gainers the with a gain of 2.64%, 0.83%, 0.42%, 0.15% respectively while shares of SBI, Federal Bank, ICICI Bank, IndusInd Bank, IDFC First Bank, Bank Of Baroda, Yes Bank, HDFC Bank were the losers with a loss of 2.90%, 2.23%, 1.45%, 1.12%, 0.60%, 0.33%, 0.28%, 0.08% respectively.

Realty Index has lose 0.74% with shares of India bulls real-estate, Phoenix Ltd, Oberoi Realty, Sobha, Prestige, Godrej Properties, DLF lose by 7.23%, 2.73%, 1.88%, 0.90%, 0.63%, 0.59%,0.23% respectively while shares of Sun Teck, Brigade, Mahindra Lifespace were the gainers with a gain of 3.61%, 2.21%, 0.68% respectively.

Energy Index has registered a loss of 1.07% which closed at 14,433.95.Shares of Reliance, Reliance Infra were in the gainer side with a gain of 0.83%, 0.50% respectively whereas shares of Hindustan Petroleum, ONGC, NTPC, Powergrid, IOC, Tata Power, IOC, Tata Power, Gail, BPCL were in the loser side with a loss of 3.72%, 2.12%, 1.97%, 1.80%, 1.35%, 1.26%, 0.74%, 0.48% respectively.

Media Index was in the negative territory which recorded a loss of 1.38%. Shares of Network18,Jagran, TV today, Sun TV were in the positive territory with a gain of 2.14%, 1.10%, 0.86%, 0.21% respectively while shares of DB Corp, Dish TV, Eros Media, Zee Media, DEN, Navneet Education Limited, Zee Limited, PVR were in the negative territory with a loss of 5.21%, 4.86%, 4.82%, 2.15%, 2.07%, 1.86%, 1.83%, 1.62% respectively.

Metal Index was the top loser of today’s trading session which recorded a loss of 1.91%. Shares of Welcorp, Moil, Hindustan Zinc were the gainers with a gain of 3.32%, 0.82%, 0.80% respectively while shares of Jindal steel, APL Apollo, Sail, Tata Steel, Coal India, NMDC, Jindal stainless limited were having a loss of 7.62%, 3.24%,3.09%, 2.99%, 2.74%, 2.58%, 2.21% respectively.
