NIFTY CLOSED WITH LOSSES OF 0.53 PERCENT

Nifty Fifty started the trading session at 11,101.30 and ended the trading session at 11,046.10, recorded a loss of 0.53%. It touched intraday high of 11,129.65 and low of 10,987.65.About 13 shares rise and 37 shares fall. Market traded with negative notes due to fear of global recession amid trade tensions and a likely drop in Q1 domestic GDP growth. Sectorial Indexes like Realty, IT, Media Indexes were the gainers with a gain of 2.38%, 1.31%, 0.10% respectively whereas Metal, Auto, Bank, Energy, Pharma, FMCG Indexes were the losers with a loss of 3.36%,1.88%, 1.14%,1.09%, 0.94%, 0.39% respectively.

Realty Index was the topmost gainer in today’s trading session which recorded a gain of 2.38%. Shares of Oberoi Realty, Brigade, Sobha, DLF, Prestige, India bulls real-estate were in the gainer side with a gain of 10.04%, 7.69%,5.21%,1.74%, 1.62%,0.69% subsequently while shares of Sun Teck, Phoenix Ltd, Mahindra Lifespace, Godrej Properties were in the loser side with a loss of 4.05%, 2.86%, 0.48%, 0.41% respectively.

IT Index has a gain of 1.31% with shares of NIIT Tech, HCL TCS,Infosys, Tech Mahindra, TCS gained by 5.08%, 2.72%,2.40%, 1.61%, 0.08% respectively while shares of Infibeam, Tata Elaxi, Mindtree,OFSS,Wipro lose by 1.00%, 0.88%, 0.54%, 0.36%, 0.12% respectively.

Media Index has registered a gain of 0.10% which was opened at 1,915.40 and closed at 1,921.30 .Stocks like Hathway, Network18,DEN, TV18 Broadcast, TV Today, Zee Media, PVR, Zee Limited were the gainers with a gain of 9.92%, 8.75%, 5.36%, 4.85%, 1.63%, 1.49%, 1.03%, 0.14% respectively whereas stocks like Eros Media, Dish TV, DB Corp, Sun TV, Inox Leisure, Navneet Education Limited, Jagran were the losers with a loss of 4.98%, 4.53%, 1.95%, 1.80%, 1.42%, 0.40%, 0.08% respectively.

FMCG Index opened at 28,873.40 and closed at 28,815.00,recorded a loss of 0.39%. Shares of Tata Global, Colgate Palmolive, Marico, Britannia,USL, ITC were the gainers with a gain of 5.33%, 0.87%, 0.83%, 0.44%,0.08%, 0.04% respectively while shares of Godrej Industries Limited, HUL, GSK Cons, UBL, Dabur, Jubilant Foodworks Limited, Godrej Products, PGHH, Emami Ltd were the losers with a loss of 2.29%, 1.85%, 1.82%, 1.44%, 1.40%,1.29%, 1.25%, 0.68%, 0.13% respectively.

Pharma Index has a downward motion during the trading session which registered a loss of 0.94%. Shares of Cadila healthcare, Glenmark, Auro Pharma were the gainers the with a gain of 1.60%, 0.57%, 0.40% respectively while shares of Biocon, PEL, Dr. Reddy, Sun Pharma, Sun Pharma, Lupin, Divi’s Lab, Cipla were the losers with a loss of 4.22%, 2.97%, 1.13%, 0.97%, 0.94%, 0.64%, 0.08% respectively.

Energy Index has lose 1.09% with shares of Reliance Infra, ONGC, NTPC, IOC, Gail, Reliance, Tata Power, Powergrid lose by 5.85%, 3.26%, 2.44%,2.115, 1.80%, 1.16%,0.81%, 0.44% respectively while shares of Hindustan petroleum, BPCL were the gainers with a gain of 3.16%,2.48% respectively.

Bank Index has registered a loss of 1.14% which was opened at 28,080.25 and closed at 27,804.30. Shares of RBL Bank, YES Bank, Bank of Baroda, Federal Bank, IDFC First Bank, PNB, IndusInd Bank,ICICI Bank were in the loser side with a loss of 11.66%, 7.13%,2.88%, 2.68%, 2.43%,2.16%, 1.76%, 1.41% respectively.

Auto Index started the trading session at 7,148.20 and ended the trading session at 7,018.55, recorded a loss of 1.88%. Shares of Eicher Motors, Ashok Leyland were in the positive territory with a gain of 1.90%, 0.15% respectively while shares of Mother Son sumi System, Tata Motors, TVS Motors, Maruti, Apollo tyre, Exide Industries Limited, Mahindra & Mahindra were in the negative territory with a loss of 4.13%, 3.03%,2.79%, 2.67%, 2.59%, 2.49%, 2.44% respectively.

Metal Index was the top loser of today’s trading session which recorded a loss of 3.36%. Welcorp was the only gainer in this index with a gain of 1.07% while shares of Jindal steel, Sail, Hindustan Copper, Tata steel, JSW Steel, Vedanta Limited were having a loss of 8.22%, 5.78%, 4.35%, 4.29%, 3.82%, 3.77% respectively.
